  1. That's because they're hosting with MaximumASP, a fairly big organisation. Having four websites on one server is no big deal... In general, they don't state the names of their suppliers (probably to prevent you going directly to them), so that wouldn't bother me. Easiest way to get a definitive answer: call CrossKeys and see if they work with Xperience Days...
  2. I'd 250 jumps to my name before I jumped a piston Cessna. I'm spoiled too
  3. The Larsson & Brusgaard Pro-Track is an electronic audible altimeter & logbook. It beeps at a preset altitude to remind to to break off/deploy/get something out now. It also keeps a record of the number of jumps you've done, along with detailed profiles of the last ten jumps you've made. You can either download this data to a computer or just use the number of jumps to fill out your logbook. The Alti-2 Neptune provides similar functionality. A huge amount has been written on these boards about both - use the Search Posts link above.

And I'm concerned about you. Couldn't you at least have chosen a half-decent brewery?
  5. It's got nothing to do with Europe... so you'll be fine.
  6. - Get gear insurance from the APF. - As for holiday insurance that covers jumping, CoverMore (available through FlightCentre) will sort you out. There's another Australia-based company that'll also cover skydiving, but off-hand I can't remember who.
  7. Sinfest used to be absolutely brilliant but has fallen away a little in recent times. Wigu is probably my current favourite, and Dilbert appears to be having something of a resurgence recently too...
  8. What's the airline? Do they fly international?
  9. That's a good color scheme for a container - it doesn't show dirt .
  10. You've got the perfect avatar for those shorts .
  11. For completeness, I'm aware of three versions of the Z1 full-face helmet: Z1: internal audible pocket (in the liner) Z1 IAS: externally-accessible audible pocket for a Pro-Track/Dytter/etc. Z1 STI: externally-accessible audible pocket for a Skytronic FX More from the US distributor.
  12. Just so you know, the Search Posts link near the top of this page is really handy. There's a wealth of information in the archives of these forums - even on how to deal with recaltraint family
  13. Australia's even better. 27°C outside my door right now
  14. Move to Australia? Or dig out the old Jane Fonda workout videos and jig your way to warmness.
  15. I'd imagine you're going to be nigh-on invisible in the air... especially on cloudy (low-light) days.
  16. I can tell the difference between a 160 Airforce* reserve and a 160 Safire2 at 600m. But not instantly. That may come with more experience. We shall see. * Made by Parachutes Australia & the most popular reserve type over here.
  17. Smart thinking. A larger, more docile reserve is a desirable thing, especially if you're low, possibly injured/unconscious, and away from the DZ. Lots has been written on this subject - use the Search Posts link above & read to your heart's content.
  18. Just out of curiosity: how long are your risers?
  19. Fair enough. I've heard people argue both points of view on that one. If you're not comfortable with it, all the other containers on the list have top-quality pin protection and will do the job nicely. Bonnie (GravityGear) knows much more about gear than I do, so you can PM her with specifics about the comfort/appearance/price of the various rigs.
  20. Bloody irritating for the rest of us when checking canopies on the load though. There's always that heart-stopping 0.25 of a second when you think it's a reserve.
