yes, i was a gung-ho holy roller at one point. i'm at the stage now in my life where heck i'm a 20 year old kid having fun. so i don't want people to look at something i do (like drink a beer) and point the finger "look its another hypocrite!" i hate that. i have my faith, i'm finding a good balance. c ya! _______________________ aerialkinetics.com

i'm just going to tell you to take a few that are the most recommended and demo. i got so much feedback from both the icarus fx and the pd velocity but there's no comparison to demo-ing. some swore by the fx but after 50 jumps on each canopy, it was obvious the velocity won my favor hands down. and a lot of people who've done the research and the demo-ing will agree with my decision on the velocity. its simply the best, but never take anyone's word, try it for yourself. ps- i'm not recommending either canopy, hehe. just advice on a way to go about choosing the right wing for you :) c ya! _______________________ aerialkinetics.com -

hehe, that's hilarious. i called my old high school golf coach 'out of the blue' last month who i hadn't talked to in a couple years. that was a blast just chatting about recent events and catching up. she thought i was absolutely crazy for skydiving now, never expected the golfer to go to the other end of the spectrum. :) _______________________ aerialkinetics.com

When I jumped a board, my average standing fall-rate was 110mph. This was on a 43" board and I'm only 5'2" so it was aaaaaalmost pro size. Was not going to jump my cross-braced canopy though with it, I stuck to my trusty Safire109. Even on a small board, I pulled standing up, crazy as it may sound, but I could do it because I'm so small. Do NOT recommend that though to other beginners.
