Performance of Stiletto, Vengence, and Velocity???
brits17 replied to konradptr's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
I've been lurking this thread and I second Ramon. 900 jumps and extremely knowledgeable... experience counts no doubt, then again, there are those with 1,000 jumps and don't know shit. I haven't said a word because hell I've only got 600 jumps, what do I know. _______________________ aerialkinetics.com -

Definately a good thing Tom. Since that 1st BASE jump, I've been so thirsty for more and more knowledge. This is a good place to scout out some good advice and experience. _______________________ aerialkinetics.com

i was at the dz all day (waller) doing some rigging when all the findings happened. the coast guard actually called us and asked us to stop jumping while their helicopters did a search of the area. i have to admit though, checking out 3 coast guard copters landing on our dz was a pretty cool sight. glad they found him though, at least thats a start to some sort of closure. _______________________ aerialkinetics.com

you wouldn't BELIEVE how many guys i met in airborne school who found out i was a skydiver and they bs'ed on and on about how they had jumped too... it was hilarious just playing the game then catching them in a trap with a question they had NO idea what i was talking about... _______________________ aerialkinetics.com

Does freefly experience REALLY translate into RW skill?
brits17 replied to Jessica's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
ok yeah, what he said what i meant was, the axis in which the rest of your body is flying upon (if that makes any sense). ok, what he said... _______________________ aerialkinetics.com -
That's the spirit Joel! Hehe, see ya there. _______________________ aerialkinetics.com

Does freefly experience REALLY translate into RW skill?
brits17 replied to Jessica's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
well all i'm going to say is that i know quite a few only freeflyers who are AFF jm's. now of course being an AFF jm is a lot different than rw... but it's still flying on your belly nonetheless. so translating over onto a much larger center of gravity (belly) from something a lot smaller (your head) is going to be a positive switch. i'm not saying you're going to be a rockin 4-way stud, but it definately improves your skills all-around. you become more of a total body pilot... and that's what i love about this damn sport. that's all i got to say about that . _______________________ aerialkinetics.com -
hey jeff, i work at skydive houston, am there all the time. pretty hardcore freeflyer but there's a great group of RW folks as well. fun friendly dz, would love to see you out there. spaceland is also good as well, i enjoy jumping at both places, sdh is just my home. c ya! _______________________ aerialkinetics.com
