Since i started jumping 2 years ago, i haven't dated a whuffo since. and really, i didn't plan it that way, just happened. there was someone i went to college with and we dated for a bit but i MADE him do at least a tandem. it was just tough because every weekend and in my spare time, i'm at the dz, and whuffo's just didn't understand that. it was hard to find time to hang out on the weekends with them, etc unless we enjoy the same things... which is jumping. heh, but regarding marraige, i'm too young!!!! but i want skydiving to be something my husband and i enjoy together one of these days :) i think it would cause tension if he didn't understand why the heck i was at the dropzone almost every weekend... too crazy. i agree with ken, i hardly EVER do toggle turns as an approach anymore. i haven't for quite a while. front risers are simply smoother and with toggles, if there's a mistake, you don't have any sort of way to bail out on emergencies. i've experienced this with all the canopies i've jumped, currently a safire109 and velocity75. also, if there's a need for speed? front risers :) C YA! i've done it several times, i'm a dumbass i know... and yes it hurts. decongestants do help though, lately i took tylenol cold and it helped quite a bit. when i do have a cold, basically i can't hear anymore, my ears hurt like crazy, and i've gotten a toothache once as well... sometimes my nose has felt like it was going to explode, not a cool feeling. but anyway, if its not too bad, try some sudafed or something, should definately relieve some of the shit that happens. I LOVE THIS CANOPY! I've put roughly 50 jumps on a Velocity 79 and 25 on the Velocity 75. All I can say is that I am just as happy doing hop'n'pops from 3,000 ft. with this canopy as I am freefalling from 14,000 ft. It's fast with the longest swoops I've ever experienced. Powerful flare that's quite responsive. It's the most ground hungry canopy available, and that final turn on the front risers? Awesome! This parachute is addictive, it's no wonder it's the new record setter in the longest swoop. The openings are predictive every time, unlike the Icarus FX. The Velocity shows why PD is the best in the world.

aaah! lol, ok trey, now i'm motivated :) ya know, for sure i will have it in 2 weeks, and what might really suck is that it might be a static line jump from 1100 ft... i was kinda hoping it'd be a big one with lots of friends and beer and stuff, so that's why i plan on jumping my ass off this weekend to make it happen :) see ya in the sky!!!!!!!!!! HEY guys!!!! i'm back! well, for a little while anyway. i finally got a break from the military and came home to skydive houston for memorial day weekend. i hadn't jumped in over 3 months so i was soooooooo ready. made 15 for the weekend, not too bad, had a total blast! did some freeflying with a memorial/scr jump thrown in there. nothing had changed at all, not rusty, just went back up in the air like it was home (because it is) and not a thing in the world could wipe that smile off my face in freefall :) i missed my true love so much, its great to be back! hope everyone had a wonderful and safe weekend... i may just do this crazy shit again this weekend!
