lol, rad! I can put it on the 'adult only' section of my site Skymama, He only meant 'eventually gets' for the movie... remember its a porn flick. It was put in parenthesis because he doesn't mean you're like that in real life. But you are the one everyone wants _______________________ aerialkinetics.com

I should have been more specific In regards to: "Do not have to be concerned with instability issues" I'm basically saying that if the student goes headlow, he just has to let go of the pc. Whereas a skydive at terminal, he is much more liable to flip around and struggle getting belly to earth before reaching back and throwing a pilot chute. In regards to: "Do not have to be concerned with navigating a parachute for the first time and where to land" ... well of course this is the biggest concern in either situation. However, a clumsy flare over water is much more desirable than over land. Also, pending opening goes correctly, he can simply fly the parachute straight in to the water. Does not have to look around and try to pick a 'spot' to land, judge angle of attack and so forth. _______________________ aerialkinetics.com

I figured this too in light of your same poll in the BASE zone. However, your first post here does not specify if its pilot chute in hand. I can see why most people are voting for the skydive in that case If we are assuming PC in hand, send em off the bridge... for the same reasons I said in this post. _______________________ aerialkinetics.com

Amanda pointed this post out to me, his last one on dz.com, and he mentions my "yellar" parachute... made me smile. Good point Theresa... brought a tear. You're right on. _______________________ aerialkinetics.com

Tough one... He was a great father-like figure. Going to miss him, his jokes, and his wealth of knowledge he has brought to BASE. Bye Mr. Manship Thanks for all you have done for us. _______________________ aerialkinetics.com

At first I said none, but then I thought about the qualities surrounding somebody who fits my definition of a hero and I thought of Jim Slaton. Someone who has had a dream and a vision from the beginning, and made it happen from scratch. He is a true pioneer in the world of canopy flight and bringing it to the masses. He is living his success and that... is a hero. There are many more to many different people. Mine is not such a personal relationship but one I see that has made his ambitions and dreams come true by hard work, faith, and endless dedication. _______________________ aerialkinetics.com

Potato for sure... Do not have to be concerned with pulling the PC. Do not have to be concerned with instability issues. Do not have to be concerned with navigating a parachute for the first time and where to land. _______________________ aerialkinetics.com

Ah yes it was nice setting the pace with the front shorties :) I felt bad for the long leggers in the back. So true, please heed this advice Never said a word to them but a friend of mine let it slip while a Sgt Airborne was standing near... he grilled my buddy till he said who it was. I got asked how many jumps I had (which was 10x more than the Sgt at the time) so every time he passed by he made me push. It was funny and annoying at the same time. _______________________ aerialkinetics.com

I wear small, and I think you're a tad wee-er than me I have the mock turtleneck, but I prefer the one I have without, much more comfy imo. I love em, good stuff. _______________________ aerialkinetics.com

Its generally in the direction of the aerialists dominant foot. For example, I'm right foot dominant so when I go to do a cartwheel, I put the right foot in front and hence, turn right. Same applies for executing a backward twisting flip (aka: full). _______________________ aerialkinetics.com

No disrespect intended Mr. Wieder, my apologies for making you feel as such. My purpose was to state the facts from observation. _______________________ aerialkinetics.com

Hehe Chill dude. It was back in 2002, over 3 years ago. I was gone for 7 months. I tore medial miniscus in my left knee, badly in fact, and thus the end of my military career. Yes, please do. You don't need to defend yourself for all these folks here Goper. They already see your expertise advice written in previous posts. _______________________ aerialkinetics.com

I find it interesting that he jumps at Skydive Houston and his jump numbers are increasing. I'm there every weekend and haven't seen him in over 2 years. Just take this into consideration when reading Richard's posts _______________________ aerialkinetics.com

Hanwags or Crispi's yo... no doubt. I used to jump in tennis before I knew better. Then my hanwags saved my ankles on a couple street landings. Ankle protection is a must in my opinion

You're not alone. Today was 0-10 degrees F at altitude, but then we wondered, what about the 120mph wind chill temperature? First 3 jumps I was gloveless and numb. o-u-c-h. At least you're running and not just falling. I'd better stop posting b/f I have more posts than jumps, just thought I'd feel your pain with you . _______________________ aerialkinetics.com
