No, it is "Saw Say." and instructions with verification. Circumstancial evidence. Tina used to know... Witnesses only saw what he boarded with. Not necessarily relivent to what he jumped with. "Saw Say", funny, did you make that up so it fits your "version" of the event? There is no evidence, real or not, to back your story up. Just your "Hear Say" thus, like so many other tall tales here, not evidence and not admissible. Now if you had actual evidence, then it would be some thing all could take seriously and actually discuss. Aren't you supposed to be some sort of LEO or former Military? Sure. Like maybe they don't really need to pay between $7,600 and $19,000 (depending on how you figure it) to be protected from barbarian hordes. Don There are cuts to be made there for sure. It still means not spending more than you have. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

$21,700 for a family income is pathetic. Send the wife out to work or get a better/second job. Clearly more income is needed to maintain the lifestyle. OR They could alter the life style and live within means. OR They cold alter the life style and add a second job (Adding revenue) and live within means. I know that he wore two pair of thermal underwear and combat boots, and so do two others who trained him. Their word with mine is evidence. They ain't talking. Gloves? Dunno. Radio? Don't think so, never discussed. Nobody on the ground. No radio needed. Only radios used were for triangulation from the pump station. Actually by Legal Definition, I believe your word is "Hear Say" and not evidence. Now a picture to refute the eye witnesses statements, who state you're incorrect in the foot wear arena, would be evidence. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. Even the non-partison GAO said revenue isn't a problem. i even read that here. We need to cut spending first and just let the tax breaks expire (same end result as a tax hike) and close loops holes (same end result as raising taxes). First - cut foreign aid, second - GOV Employee enticements and Defense (Start with Per-diem), then keep working down the list from biggest to smallist, just like you do at home. Matt Foreign aid is chicken feed compared to the big three. All that cutting that would do is pander to the redneck vote and piss off a lot of poor countries (and Israel). True, but it still needs to be done. We crunched the per-diem numbers last month and found it would save about $350,000 a week (Low end) for the DOD alone. Applied across the whole GOV it could be millions a week. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

3 Years in...where is that 'change' again?
matthewcline replied to regulator's topic in Speakers Corner
Sure, right after you show all on-record statements by government agencies to be truthful and factual. The banner was ordered by the Ships PAO as part of the dog and pony show. The PAO made the statement the same day the POTUS made his trap. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!! -
I think it was Quade said 'in a spin reserve is designed to open, backpack would not.' According to Cossey, Cooper had only a functional backpack. I told you guys he put the reserve on the back!!!! The "X" pack was packed by Bill and sewn shut to insure no tampering. BELIEVE IT! There apparently was a good reason. That does not make sense, is it even possible? He wore a NB-6 that rig has no way of being rigged like that. Bob, do you have proof of any thing here? Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

Yes, we do but you refuse to accept it. Weber was trained by Richard Floyd McCoy, Jr. and Bill. One in the air and the other spotting. Training was by EXPERTS over a whole summer of weekend jumps. The guy who flew the plane was Lindstrom at Flying Cloud Airport in Savage, MN. He had a pilot's training school on the east edge of the airport on hwy 169 and offered jumps as a sideline. Everyone signed the logbook every time with their real names. They repacked the chutes on my lawn, and I often watched as we talked. Any actual proof that this is true besides you and Jo just saying it? Weber does not seem smart enough to have carried the pack let alone executed the jump. I think it was Quade said 'in a spin reserve is designed to open, backpack would not.' According to Cossey, Cooper had only a functional backpack. Here it is from Quades post last night: [Quade: You might survive, but ONLY because modern reserve parachutes are designed to deploy even if the person is tumbling. It's part of the spec. Your main parachute has no such spec. Hope you know the difference without any instruction] So I guess the question is: How reliable are NB6/8's at opening in a spin or tumble? Well to water it down to the prudent stuff, the NB6/8's are designed as reserves. They are round and open in most every case. Facts are; No one saw "Cooper" jump, but the Air Crew "think" in hind site they know when he left. So since no one saw him jump, no one knows how stable he was or what the bundle looked like at that moment. All other "facts" for that moment are either right out lies, or imagined. He could have left in a ball and survived just fine, or he could have spun/tumbled so violently that he passed out and didn't pull any thing. None of the suspects, here, seem to have enough experience to have pulled off any jump, let alone; one at night, out of a unique A/C, in weather, limited visibility (even for night), and carrying a bundle (even though not overly large). Curious, who did you report him to? I got a PM from a user that has no business getting on here... I sent it to Meso, with no idea of who handles that stuff. I used the link in the add reply that says send this too if you suspect this is a scam. Paypal has a "spoof" link that is the same concept. Lots of the Greenies are spending time vacationing (we all should do the same!), but as Meso pointed out they are handling things. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. Again. Personally I am going to have to disagree with that statement. I've worked extensively with the Kurds during my deployments and have spent a decent amount of time up in the Kurdish region(Kurdistan), and for the time being they are very secure behind their lines. They have a fairly significant and well trained security force, and policies in place to protect themselves against intruders. That is the most secure region of Iraq, if not the entire middle east. When I used to go there to meet with the Talibanis we would forego hard plates and rifles and stick with concealed soft armor and pistols once we crossed the green line. We also traveled in unarmored civilian vehicles to have as little of an impact on the local populace as possible. The Kurds also hold claim to the best Chinese restaurant I've ever eaten at in downtown Sulimaniyah! I too spent a bunch of time in Kurdish Iraq, but as we both know, the Kurds only see the Iraq border as a new thing, they still hold their beliefe of the Kurdistan borders pre-WWI. We are seeing them having issues in Turkey already, and we are helping both sides, much like Central American Countries a few years ago. In the end I see the Kurds having to stand on their own, at least overtly, while the US works with the others GOV's overtly. This was an issue expressed by the Kurds in the 90's, again in 2003 and even last year. Hell they even expressed it to a foodie! Talk about trying tio get the word out! You keep bringing this spin thing up. What makes you so sure it will happen and in such the manner as you think that it is not able to be countered? If it was Weber, sure it would be his death (but Weber wasn't the high jacker, so no biggy), KC maybe his death too (but probably not the guy either, although he has the most "Evidence" on his side), my point - any experienced jumper of that era would have no trouble with the reserve container sized bundle, IF, it was properly affixed and still intact after the exit. I do not think he is 100% honest, but I also do not think he is making it up. There are others backing his story as well. Even a Congressional report says he could be right. BUT It does not change the fact we need not have been there to begin with. Now that we are gone, the Kurd's are fucked. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. How so? I have never met the man, but the COL who did the Forward to his book I have spent a few days with. GEN Sada's claim matches with some of the Border Guards we questioned in 2003, as well as several shipping labels we found from France and Germany. But we still need not have been in Iraq, at least not at that time for those reasons. Matt This guy Sada sounds like a piece of work. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georges_Sada An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

He is back. I have reported him to pay pal and to DZ.com twice now. Hew replied to the new adds in minutes, with the same sob story. He stopped contact when I told him I was a marine biologist at sea and was selling this for my dad and would be using a shipping agent who would charge 10 times the cost of shipping. Hopefully DZ.com will block him soon. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

I believe the following people know that Duane Weber was Dan Cooper: Bill Rataczak, et. al. family Richard McCoy, et. al. family Robert Knoss Dennis Nichols Nick OHara Ralph Hemmelsbach Jerry Thomas (;#)^ et. al. crew Jo Weber Pasternak Gray People who know what really happened are now in the hundreds and growing, many have also passed away. If you are going to cover this up, you'd better start getting more professional about it. This is more like a Shriner's Circus for the kiddies than any serious discussion of "FACTS". You really funny guy. Jo says the chute was buried where a tower used to be. Look for the GPS of the old tower. It is tied together with parachute line and a bunch of knots. Probably a buff colored larger chute. NOT a red and white sport chute like Jo "TESTS" you with. (:#)^ That is funny! It is not April yet! Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. A heavy just flew by on final with the first of the 101st ABN's last group out. Tomorrow rest are due to arrive, Home. Matt PS Any one here read General George Sada's book "Sadams Secrets"? I am still looking for it myself. The Man who did the forward for the book said it would "quiet" a few who say the WMD's never existed. An Instructors first concern is student safety. Anyone go thru AFF at West Tennessee Skydiving?
matthewcline replied to SCOTT735's topic in Safety and Training
I have jumped there, but had my "D" License and numerous Instructor Ratings when I did. I would recommend it to any one who is wanting to go through AFF or do a Tandem. Plus there is tons of fun to be had there. Great people and a great location, it a bad plane too. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!! -

Sorry, we aren't going to forget left-wingers like Harry Reid declaring the war was lost and we needed to turn tail and slink away in the night. We aren't going to forget "General Betrayus". We aren't going to forget opposition to the Surge. Now the left-wingers want to claim credit? Give me a break. What did he do again to earn that nick name from a newspaper?
