  1. Noneya..... just finished running and getting ready to look "presentable." (Although some might find me "presentalbe" as currently attired.) Karen

    Hey...

yeah... its only the important dz.commers... Mr. Stars on Thars.... That's ok. I'm being incognito. Under the covers. Pulling the strings behind the stage.
  3. "how not to do 4 way" is definately one of my favorites.

    Hey...

I want to guess birthdays... but then since some are listed twice does it include Sky Birthdays?
  5. Poor camera guy. His eyes must be burning as bad as their willys.
  6. The only way to lock a checked bag is to carry a firearm. I would consider checking and declaring a pistol with my rig just for the sake of locking my pelican case. Otherwise they reserve full right to open, break, steal or otherwise abuse your property.
  7. One thing that I would NOT want my child to play with is PSP or whatever new video game is out. It's too easy to use that as a babysitter and then deprive the child of social interaction, discussion and growth. I was adamant about my nephew NOT bringing his PSP on the trip that he and I took to the East Coast. We talked in the car..... Toys/Games that I do want: Skates, Bat and Ball, Bikes, Trikes and Big Wheels (Not an Escalade ) Chalk and paint Playdo Books (lots and lots of books... in fact I already have most of them... here are some, and others) Jumprope (traditional and chinese) Chess, solitaire, cribbage Risk, Trivial Pursuit, Stratego, Battleship, Boggle, Mastermind, Twister, Scrabble Edit.... I forgot LightBite
  8. And that is his justification for RAPE of a 14 year old girl... GIRL! Her MURDER.... the MURDER of her FIVE year old sisters .... the MURDER of her parents?! If you feel you're going to die, why would you do something to take you straight to hell?! I know war is horrid, but you can't use that as an excuse for raping and killing children. I wouldn't be opposed to a trial in Iraq. Not to be harsh... cuz I tend to be more forgiving and compassionate, rather because HER culture and life was Iraqi.... that's where she was violated, thats where they should be judged.
  9. This was great... last night I did a whole 70's/80's thing. Riki Tiki Tavi was great. Good, loyal friend. Lessons on trust and honor. Looked up Nestor... That was not a childrens show. I cried so much when I would watch that. Looked up Readalong with Talking Boot a couple other things too... but the memory fades like the light headache that I woke with this morning. Mmmm ..... wine is good.
  10. Sorry to hear about the injury. I hope that the pain resolves quickly and your neck heals well. Don't jump again until you're supposed to... you do NOT want a second injury right after the first. Take Care Karen
  11. Anyone remember Nestor the long eared donkey....."ears, Nestor."
  12. Does it have to be in passion? Or does an accidental grasp at the skirt and resulting flash count? We'll have to see video of said offence to decide. Video?
  13. Does it have to be in passion? Or does an accidental grasp at the skirt and resulting flash count?
  14. lol... well...clearly I over thought the question : ) Me too....
  15. I am VERY different from my two sisters-physically, spiritually and persoanlity. My mom and I were discussing this at lunch today. Trying to understand what makes some people unhappy in life and others more bold and adventure seeking... is it genes or encouragment? I still don't know. I think chrms are WAY COOL but wonder about what might turn this gene sequence off or modify or mutate this other area. .... gonna go watch GATTACCA now.
  16. Excellent questions! Other peoples perceptions of me is accurate.... at least in their mind. To them, their perception IS reality. Reminds me of the song Wonderful in Wicked Whether I see my personality as they do is a different matter. And how I see my personality varies on different matters ... I am professional/informal, kind/wicked, witty/serious, bookish/social, naive/Dominating... all depends on who I am at that moment. Alexandra Slates song, Bad Girl, seems most correct. I've known some friends for over 20 years... and they still don't understand what I think life should be about. But ultimately... as long as I like my perception of me then my personalities all play well with each other. Karen
  17. I think the deaths are sad and loss is painful. During this time there are a lot of questions, demand for answers, unresolved emotions.... anger. I think that some try to use the legal system to regain the control that they had lost with the accident. There are some of the less noble reasons... money, vengance, bitterness. And there are some "ambulance chasers" that promote this. But motive for the lawsuit aside, if a wrong occured and the courts can prove the fault directly led to the accident, then appropriate sentencing is correct. What I think is wrong is some of the cut-throat blame used in some trials. Painting the image as a "victim" and a "demon." Absolutes and black/white imagery. Most people are NOT evil and accidents do happen.... to blame the sport, a dropzone, the pilot.... just seems harsh to me and I don't really think it gives the family the satisfaction that they think it would. Those are my thoughts.
  18. I was once "converted".... can be quite *fun*
  19. Here ya go... somebody (looking at LM) put goobers in it. Good luck on finding a hot skychicha.... there might be one or two out there.
  20. I have a couple of times.... now though, the numbers are getting high enough that it would be quite an effort.
  21. I went to the Miami Ink website and tried to find an image of the tatoo.... couldn't find it. Does anyone know what it looked like?
  22. It gives a good reason to take the parachute home to pack it....
  23. DERK! Where is you?! hhhhmmmmmm. Maybe he's more interested in telekinesis, quantum mechanics and lunch than fiddling around with sky-girls. Or maybe just looking for a missing cat. Ooops. That's Dirk... The good Dirk Gently.
