Me too, despite what know it all Dr. Karen says. If you ever need blood, let me know.

I know the fates will pay her back. Next year for her annual... she'll have her cold behind sitting on that stupid table for hours waiting for her OB/Gyn. Then the heater will be broke and the speculums will be all cold!! (ha. that'll teach her!)

CMV stands for cytomegalovirus. A common virus that many get (especially those that are around young children a lot)... but it can be very bad for young babes. So they (the NICU types) always seem to want CMV neg to protect the lil ones

That kinda confuses me. The ABO type is A, B, AB or O. The second component is the Rh stauts which is either + or - (also known as D antigen; and can also be a weak positive which is still considered a positive.) Mine is O+, CMV neg so I try to donate as often as possible. (so I have an exucse for the track marks )

I like it HOT. Less bothersome clothes, less shivering, just relaxing.... But I guess if you have to actually do work, maybe too hot can be bad.

I didn't get a whambulance.... I got a batmobile. Tiburon

Starts out with a 45 minute wait.... then the ignorant cow enters the information wrong, her supervisor then has to help and reenter all the info. Then they get annoyed at me for not having my plate info with me. (I have the title stuffs, taxes stuff, insurance stuff... THEY have my plates on file!! Look it up, STOOPID!) Then finally all is done and she says that will be $1564. WTF?! Buying a car and taxes and DMV in Kansas City SUCKS!!!!!! (evil thoughts)

You could come over to the light side of the force and go to medical school. Congrats though on your progress to date. The accomplishment is worth the effort. Karen

I'm glad the surgery went smooth and I hope she heals well! Karen

Well... some are able to cook.

ummm..... I don't think you meant to reply do me.... cuz I never said nuttin like it's ok to hate the opposite sex. (infact I agree with you) But, I'm still confused as to why addressing it to me.

They also have cooler guns in the movies too. How many people watched The Matrix for the first time and when they had the room of guns in the Matrix to get ready for the raid you went "damn, that would be neat to have!" *sigh* some day.....

I'd be worried about getting a part of your liver.... poor thing's all worn out already.

Yes. In fact, I encourage others to not only donate blood, but also register for Bone Marrow donation and sign the organ donor card on the back of your drivers license. I would be less encouraging to have people become living donors unless they truly understand the risks that they are undertaking.

It sounds a little like Alas, Babylon by Pat Frank (copyright 1959)... but not really. look at this Alas, Babylon edit to add - clicky work now.

No. You need to come out of your shell more.

Firstly - lets not start the whole "Nice Guys Finish Last" debate. It's not true, period. Secondly - not all girls fall for the "Bad Boy" type. But granted some do.... Because "love" (however it's defined) makes one think that "this time it'll be different." It would fall into the "He didn't love them like he loves me" or "I love him more than they did." mentality. I think Krisanne hit most of the typical thoughts.... but what causes them? Maybe a mixture of pheromones, genetics, conditioning.... Conditioning being the big one. Girls are typically raised to "be nice" and help others. So you have here a situation where some guy needs support (mentally, emotionally, ect) and she feels needed, wanted.... until he acts up. But she can change that if she just helps him more.... Bad logic, but understandable. The girls who go for the famous types are generally ones who are just going for the power aspect of lust.

That's so wonderful! You two make a cute couple. And I'm just gonna repeat what you've already heard here a time or two: TELL HER! It shouldn't scare her off..... unless you just met her last week, of course.

OK... I still think that the 1911 is the sexiest handgun, but after playing in TX (lots of fun - more fun than I should post....) I have to say that more ammo is a good thing. I'm not saying that I'm completely over to the dark side - but 9mm might be up a notch.

SARAH Gender: Feminine Usage: English, French, German, Jewish, Biblical Other Scripts: ?????? (Hebrew) Pronounced: SER-a [key] Means "lady" or "princess" in Hebrew. This was the name of the wife of Abraham in the Old Testament. She became the mother of Isaac at the age of 90. Her name was originally ?????? (Sarai), but God changed it (see Genesis 17:15).

Name Meanings KAREN (1) Gender: Feminine Usage: Danish, Norwegian, English Pronounced: KER-en [key] Danish form of KATHERINE KATHERINE Gender: Feminine Usage: English Pronounced: KATH-u-rin, KATH-rin [key] From the Greek name AIKATEPIVN (Aikaterine). The etymology is debated: it could derive from the earlier Greek name ‘EKATEPIVN (Hekaterine), which came from ‘EKATEPOS (Hekateros) "each of the two"; it could derive from the name of the goddess HECATE - Hecate was a goddess associated with witchcraft, tombs, demons and the underworld; it could be related to Greek AIKIA (aikia) "torture"; or it could be from a Coptic name meaning "my consecration of your name". The Romans associated it with Greek KAOAPOS (katharos) "pure" and changed their spelling from Katerina to Katharina to reflect this. The name belonged to a 4th-century saint and martyr from Alexandria who was tortured on the famous Catherine wheel. Another saint by this name was Catherine of Siena, a 14th-century mystic. This name was also borne by two empresses of Russia, including Catherine the Great, and by three of Henry VIII's wives. so I'm either "pure" or not so pure. Karen

Do you really think Mrs Bush would let him do that?! Or the secret service guys? His last jump he had more than enough people watching out for him.... whether he had an A, a D or nutting at all. I think it's nice that USPA gave him an honorary D. His combat experience is significant (anyone that has combat jumps, not just bailing out a plane but expecially the low level s/l herc ones!) I think that takes a lot more something than I have to have with just worrying about the skydive. Which means he buys beer for all the existing D holders, right... one of you guys should let him know about that (D Holders.... think about the )

Vatican vows to expel stem cell scientists from Church
kbordson replied to StreetScooby's topic in Speakers Corner
Your post is so full of innaccuracies and invective, it's not even worth a rebuttal. How about really trying to determine WHY the Church is against divorce? birth control? instead of just railing against it in an irresponsible, ignorant way? the catholic church is against love... give me a break. what a bunch of hogwash. So.... point out the inaccuracies (sic) and invective? Tell me why knowledge is bad. Specifically explain why genetics is bad (not just the tired stem cell debate..."But they're BABIES" ) Tell me why I have to committ so much money to the church for a tithe to have the church issue an annulment. I was told it would be "easy to get"... just pay money. (His wife was pregnant with another mans child at the time of the divorce... annulment would have been just a matter of paperwork.... but the money just made it dirty.) Tell me why birth control is bad. IN A LOGICAL AND GLOBALLY conscious way. Not just for the sake of that one unborn and unCONCIEVED child. When you throw out sanctimonious invective response.... expect to defend it. Karen -
Vatican vows to expel stem cell scientists from Church
kbordson replied to StreetScooby's topic in Speakers Corner
Great ... then I can reach for another goal that will get me excommunicated! Love is bad - don't marry divorced guys unless you pay of his sins with lots of money Knowledge is bad - Don't learn that the Earth isn't the center of the Universe. Don't learn that evolution exists. Don't even think about learning about genetics. Self Deternimation is bad - Birth Control?! Karen -
Starting tomorrow (ok, maybe noon today)... I am off until maybe Sep or so. (but then I have to get a job.) Karen
