Ahh.... poor Andy's rig. All sad and lonely. Soon she (or is it "He") will be back home and safe in your arms (and on your back) again.

Wish I could be there! Sounds like it would be great fun! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

I read it years ago... I believe most of what she says, but with my nature, I find it hard to walk the walk. The speech from Reardon to Philip on the saction of the victim is something that I remind myself about a lot. Between my family and some of my friends, I keep allowing myself (and my money and my time) to be used without even a thanks. It's that assumed or demaded charity that truly annoys me - and my mom raised me to give and give and keep giving... but then I allow it to be taken. That speech reassures me that I'm not horrid by wanting appreciation for what I give to "looters". I don't necessarily agree with everything she's written, but self independance is very important. Glad you're reading it. If you want to stay with philosophy but want something a little lighter, try the Tao of Pooh. It's a fun read.

I was deferred for the 3rd time today. Stupid hemaglobin recommendations... it wasn't bad today... just a bit below. But I hate the walk of shame. Funny part was the poor phlebotomist was trying to tell me how to increase my iron in my diet.... then she said - "you might want to call a doctor if this is a chronic problem." I just smiled.

I always thought that was the Cervix?? More like the Grand Foyer if you ask me. I like that.

I'm so confused. Are you referring to internal or external genitalia? The ultimate organ is the brain - specifically the anterior pituitary (releases FSH/LH controlling the ovaries releasing estrogen/progesterone controlling the uterus... ) Or you could argue that the "female sex organ" is the ovaries - from a "thats where the eggs are kept" The vagina is just a doorway to the womb.

First jump was for the challenge of my courage. To see if I could overcome fear. After that first freefall.... it became a challenge to fly beautifully, to control my body with slight movements, to release EVERYTHING for just one minutes focus on one thing, to RELAX. And the people!

There's just SO MUCH stuff to do!! It's hard to focus on one hobby and devote all the time to that and that alone.

ludicrous.. better handwriting simply requires PRACTICE... hell you can get the same training materials used for children at most grocery stores.. Actually for some people, it is more than just a practice issue. Practice might make it better... but it still might not ever be the beautiful calligraphy that is wished for. Luckily, I have rather nice penmenship... but some do honestly have to work hard for it. Not just a matter of getting the lined paper and writing "a a a a .... b b b b ... " Which is why some places have gone to computerized or preprinted scripts. (now.. for some it might just be lazy and lack of consideration... but hopefullly not the most common reason)
-
ya know.... I can understand frustration wtih this... 7k deaths is quite disgusting, but not ALL doctors have poor handwriting, and many have converted over to computer and printed scripts. It's just kinda annoying to read the common assumptions and misconceptions (and incorrect info) that we are so used to hearing. There are many "outlawed" abbreviations - for which the poor pharmacist would call the doc responsible for writing "u" instead of "units" or problems with using the decimal point or not (ie "2.0 mg"- not correct. vs. "2 mg" - correct) to confirm the prescription. Are there still some errors - yes. Is something being done about it? Yes.

WOW!!!! You're pushing you luck recently. 4.0 GPA, Dad doing well, surviving a gas leak..... how about a nice BORING few weeks? ok? Seriously though, I'm glad you're ok. (and quit smoking!) Karen

This debate aside... I just want one... THIS one Defense Review or for those with cable... there was just a clip on discovery channel (future weapons) Wouldn't use it for evil - I promise... but I am amazed by the power, accuracy, and rate of fire. AND the recoil system looks so cool!

Here more research backed info (still maybe not 100% "right"... but still helpful)

and even then, to determine type I vs. type II you have to get a "western blot" which is some type specific serogenic test. That's not something normally offered and something one would have to specifically request. That tells you if it happens to be genital or oral. I don't think that's true anymore...I'm pretty sure IgM and IgG tests are standard now when someone requests an HSV test. Also, though HSV-1 is usually oral and HSV-2 is usually genital, either can be contracted at the other location (usually through oral sex). Blues, Dave There is a blood test for HSV, and even one specific for HSV2. HOWEVER.... depending on the lab, it can be a pain in the ass to get the HSV 2 test done. But, not impossible. It might mean that you have to get your blood drawn a couple of time (cuz even if all the lab requisions are filled out correct and even if the nurse calls the lab and specifically tells them what we want....) the lab might do the nonspecific HSV antibody test, which is about useless - cuz almost everyone has been exposed to HSV 1. But... I'm hoping that by bugging the labs enough that they will catch a clue and just start running what is ordered.

If you or he like firearrms and training, I generally prefer TacPro in TX... but since you specified AZ, you could look at McMillan for some training.

I've been watching this thread... and thinking about the answer. I don't know that it's really fair to tell you a simple "yes" or "no." I'm not saying that I intentionally "change" who I am in different situations or that I try to chameleon to the environment... but how comfortable I am, how secure I feel and who I am with determines how much of "me" I truly show. I typically tend be a bit guarded and act all grown up and mature while people watching the "carefree" types .... but when relaxing in a "safe" environment.... I do the same sillly things. So I guess... if you met me once - you might think "she's not at all the same person," but it's probably cuz I'm just trying to figure things out. If you got to know me... yup, I'm the same person.
