And... the only thing violence caused is more pain and sorrow.

Congratulations! He looks beautiful. Teach him well and love him dearly!

That was about 14 hours of no dz.com. Luckily I had ACLS to "entertain" me for a big part of it. (Shout out to the medical types - the computer re-cert for ACLS SUCKS!)

Is that the technical term? Well I didn't want to use the "doctor-speak"... and pt thingies works! And... getting the orange stuff off depends on if its just betadine or duraprep. Betadine washes off with water. Duraprep is a bit harder to get off... there is a lotion that is specificially designed to do it... but if you just wait, it will come off in time.

Happy Birthday! I hope that the day is restful and your wishes are fulfilled! May this year bring you happiness and joy!

Remember though.... you don't pay her for the sex. You can get that for free. You pay her to leave.

Glad you're doing well! Do those PT thingies! And get better quickly!

Depends on you and depends on her. She might be "worth" the sun and moon.... but if money is tight or if she a more practical type or if the ring that you REALLY think is special is only $500.... don't let a silly "rule" dictate what you have to buy her as a representation of your love and commitment.

Don't listen to those jaded hearts! Yes, it's hard. Yes, it's A LOT of work. Yes, it's sacrifice. And there are many times that I even question if I should have just worked at the local gentlemans club for more money and more respect.... but then there are those other times that makes it all worth the weekends at the library, the pages at 2:15am and 2:35am and 2:40am and 2:55am and .... the positive review of systems (I HATE the positive review of systems......) THOSE times make it worthwhile Helping someone that really needs it and really making a difference. Not just the life/death things.... but understanding about his/her health - medically, and otherwise. Fighting Darwin is challenging. but rewarding.

I think it was a statement to the girls that would look twice at an old, fat guy and that they (meaning those girls) should pm him... and with pictures. (so that he can make sure that she doesn't have hairy arms )

So... I went to pubmed. Search "hair removal infection" and that pulls up all the KNOWN studies that say that pre-operatively you should not shave the surgical site, but clipping the hair is ok. This is because we had found that shaving the site actually INCREASES post operative infection rates as it nicks the skin and in fact clipping does not decrease the infection rate from no hair removal Cochrane meta analysis As far as non surgical reasons, hair removal and infection - there were many studies on folliculitis, Psuedofolliculitis Barbae (ingrown hairs), Bullous impetigo, Outbreak of tinea corporis gladiatorum- a fungal skin infection due to Trichophyton tonsurans, complications of waxing . . . but I also found several medical "indications" for hair removal (dermatologic such as pilonidal sinus, and hormonal like PCOS and hirsuitism) Couldn't find any studies on long term infection/wellness and hair removal. Kinda amusing though, we assume that a person is healthy if he/she has a sleek, tanned body. . . but we know that sun is bad... will we learn in 10-15 yrs that hair removal is bad? and ps... my views on male hair removal - if he's a swimmer/bicycler/sports type, then I understand hair removal for speed/aerodynamics. but I would NEVER expect it to be removed for ME. (he doesn't need to be that fast)

I'm not saying that guys don't put forth an effort too (and I was going to comment on your specific special efforts... just that it might not be as necessary. So she has a lil arm hair (ok... mabye even a lot.....) Who she is is a lot more important than the physical appearance.
