Well I got the official word this weekend, no Fire at nats. Natasha will be flying with another team though, and from what I hear she has a lot more 4 way plans for her future, I can't wait to see what else she brings to the sport. Thanks GQ_Jumper for judging this weekend... Quote I had a blast judging this weekend, I'd be happy to do it anytime, I learned a lot just from watching. History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. Eisenhower

You're going to pay for my flights from Australia, entry fee, jumps, and beer? Thanks! That's very generous of you. Quote first class all the way, only the best for my team History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. Eisenhower

it means i'll be sponsoring at least one of the people on a pickup team, can ya guess who it is History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. Eisenhower

it's eaasy to do a 16+ average when you just sit in place and take grips while three AS coaches build all the formations around you fortunately though next years nats falls right around the time i get home from iraq so i'll probably be on leave while it's going on and will be able to make it, and with a fat ol' bank account History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. my ex girlfriend ran into a guy one time claiming to be SF, the ridiculous thing about the whole situation was that he was wearing cook whites and a maroon beret. History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. Eisenhower

I haven't heard of this actually happening, but give the Dubya administrations history, it would surprise me more if this sort of thing didn't happen. Quote they are a security contracting company nothing else, these stupid conspiracy theories are getting worse every time, i have personally dealt with blackwater in iraq and yes they can be cowboys from time to time and get out of hand if you don't keep a tight leash on them but it's not because they are hired to be, most of it stems from the fact that during the first two years of the war in iraq the majority of blackwater employees were ex seals, and if there's one thing seals are good at doing it's trying to make themselves look cool, which causes them to get out of line quite a bit. the administration actually threatened to revoke their contracts a few times if they didn't straighten themselves up and quit acting like they are anything more than a defensive tool, their job is to protect certain sites and escort important people nothing else. they may be trying to stem into some of the contracts to train iraqi police and such but i haven't gotten any confirmation of that yet History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. Eisenhower

i'm really sorry i couldn't make it guys, but no i'm not scared i fear nothing!!!! actually we're getting some cherry guys on the team with no combat experience so i am heading up their trainup for iraq and i can't take a week before they're ready to go. what can i say i'm a work a holic i love training people. at least i'll get to go to the Special Forces ball that week since i'll be here, and i found myself a date too History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. well i've had a whole load of pm's from people looking for teammates and i hate to do this but i'm going to have to tap out of nationals this year. i have personal and military obligations keeping me here. but if anyone is still looking for a team drop me aline and theres a few people i can get you in touch with that are looking for the same. maybe next year, take care everyone History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. I suppose it's a bit of a smart arsey and perhaps even disrespectful question, but for some reason your thread prior to my comment made me feel this way. Quote you're absolutely right I should apologize to that officer and welcome him into my ranks even though he is a pathetic excuse of a service member and makes the rest of us look bad History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. Eisenhower

Sinapsi just posted another kickass score at their nationals, I really hope they stay together through another WM. Unless we have nother team as dominant as Fire I think they could very well take it. Also looking at the way 4 way scores have gone this past year I think a 24 avg. over a 10 round is going to become more common, and who knows a 25 avg. may be achievable. History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. Eisenhower

I know there's probably plenty of people out there looking for an extra person, or looking for that team looking for an extra person!!! So I figured I'll try and get a list started in here of people looking to throw something together to compete at nationals. If youare headed there this year but don't have a full team, list yourself here and maybe you'll find what you're lookin for As of right now I'm looking for two more just to do a fun pickup team so I can at least compete. It's myself and one of the tunnel rats from Eloy. Drop me a PM if ou're interested. History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. Eisenhower

I haven't been paying very close attention to the swoop circuit this year so excuse the ignorance, but how long has JC been with the PD factory team? History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. Eisenhower -
PM sent And I second what soon to be Mr. Cline said in commending the parents of service members, parents probably have it worse off at times than do their children when it comes to the emotional hardship of a deployment. And Mr. Kallend your son definitely has my respect, as I've gathered from your previous posts in other threads that he is an 11C(correct me if I'm wrong). Well I started out as an 11C in Ranger Battalion and 3rd Infantry so there's always a special place in my heart for those goofy little gun bunny's. Gotta love 'em!! nah I'm pretty sure I don't suffer from PTSD, hell I wish I were back in Iraq already but unfortunately I have to wait until this winter before I can go play again. But according to the poster who asked that anyone who thinks about war and gets angry is obviously psycho and suffering from PTSD or some sort of mental disorder, or would it be more along the lines of everyone who has been to combat is just a dangerous psycho? Either way, I was trying to make a point in my original post that there is no room for cowards in MY military, yes that's right, MY military. I've dedicated too much of my life to serving it to watch it be brought down by worthless pukes that can't live up to their committments. I have served next to cowards on the battlefield and served under their command as well and all they do is undermine our efforts to bring this war to an end. History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. Eisenhower

Mr. Kallend, I usually try and steer away from arguments about the administration and leadership, in the past, yes I very well may have criticized a few people who took shots at the leadership, but not recently that I can recall. What I am asking you here though is when I said anyone in particular was bad mouthing the troops in my original post in this thread. I was talking about large groups of people in general but not making any accusations toward anyone in particular, especially anyone in this thread. So that's twice now in this particular thread that you have completely twisted the meaning of something I have said and I would greatly appreciate it if you would refrain from doing so. So once again I will restate what I have said, everyone who joins my military is volunteering to make substatial sacrifices to help others, anyone who does so may very well be consider a hero in some respect. That's it, that's all I have said here, I have not accused anyone of being unpatriotic nor am I using any "right wing" tactic to make people look that way. History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. Eisenhower
-
Classic right wing tactic: deflect criticism of the leadership by making it out to be unpatriotic. Quote Where did I try and make someone out to be unpatriotic for criticizing leadership? I was merely sticking up for my brothers in arms(one of which is your own son if I am not mistaken). All I was saying was that the act of volunteering to make sacrifices for others regardless of your personal motive makes you in some respect a hero. How did you pull some right wing propaganda out of that? History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. Eisenhower

You suffering from PMT? Quote PMT? would you be referring to PTSD or is there something else along those lines I'm unaware of? History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. Eisenhower
