  1. I heard Pulse is gonna be the team to watch this year, especially their OC History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. Eisenhower
  2. I like the idea of having extra ammo handy, but if you add too much weight onto your weapon it might not be as quick and handy as it should be. In a close quarters shootout, where a shotgun would be deadly, I'd want a weapon that would point very quickly. Fractions of a second could decide who lives and who dies. Quote I've been trying to post pics to show you guys what I have, but thereisn't a whole lot left of this shotty after all the work I did on it. It can't get much ligter, even with all the extra ammo it's still light. The shotgun is only for breaching though, I transition back to my long gun before I step in the room(there's a few exceptions to that however). The extra ammo is definitely needed though, theres times where you find yourself starting off with just one house to clear and it turns into ten houses and a bunch of outlying sheds, each one with a locked front gate and door. As soon as I dig up a camera cable I'll post pics of it, everyone just seems to have forgotten our cable to upload our pics so none of us are taking any at the moment History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. Eisenhower
  3. I mean, if you didn't have to pay your mortgage until you felt like it (and someone else will pay it, with no obligations, Bill obviously you never heard about my roommate, he found a great way to get out ofpaying is mortgage, just "forget" to send the check every month and right before it goes 30 days late tell me about it and it's taken care of. Can't they just do the same thing with Iraq History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. Eisenhower
  4. Bill, thanks for the info, I'm not getting all that much news over here and I don't spend much time online readin the news. I still don't like the set dates though. Basically what they're saying is they are going to make it harder on those of us who are essential and do have to stay by taking away the units that do(excuse the term) the shit jobs so we don't have to and can focus on operating. Or at least that's how I understood it. History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. Eisenhower
  5. The military is not an organization that should be deployed for nation building. They are the ones suffering the abhorent decision making of the administration. They did what they were sent to do long ago. Its time to bring them home. Immediately. Quote There's more to combat than crushing a foreign army. If all we had done was roll over Saddam's military then turn around and come home leaving the Iraqis to whatever fate decides to do with them what do you think would happen? We created the insecurity by destroying the forces that kept this country secure, that's what happens when you invade. Now until this country once again has fully capable security forces it is our responsibility to remain here and provide that security for them. As for the BS that congress is pushing, they're playing politics, not supporting the troops. They are trying to corner Bush to make themselves look better. Why not put the funding and the troop withdrawls on two seperate bills, they are two seperate issues, we need the money over here regardless of how long we're going to stay here. Congress damn well knows that Bush would veto anything with a definite time table attached to it. A timetable is bullshit anyways, you can't predict how long it will take to win a war, that's impossible. Everytime you are making strides in the right direction something comes out of left field that no onecould've planned for. Although the Dems do a great job of pointing at Bush for not planning for everything that comes up like they knew it was going to happen the whole time. As I've said a thousand times before, you want an exit strategy, make a list of all the milestones that need to be accomplished to get out of here. Both sides I'm sure could agree on what those steps need to be. Make that your time table, when all of those things are accomplished we go home. An attitude of "I just need to tough it out for six more months and then I'm home whether I finish the job or not" is the wrong answer. Letting people know that things need to be accomplished in order to go home is the way to get it done. But what would I know anyways? 6. They're out there buddy, I used to weigh around 235 out the door and was still able to jump with the feather butts it just took some practice, keep at it bro and if ya can't find anyone, gimme a call, I'll come out and jump wit ya I'm only around 195 now but I can still burn a hole in the sky History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. Eisenhower
  7. i used to have two in my eyebrow, my tongue and my labret. the labret was my favorite just because so many people were always coming up and asking about it, I met all kinds of awesome people like that. I took em all out though about a year later, got too hard to keep aking it out every morning and putting fishing line in, piercings and the military don't mix!! 8. I'm diggin that forearm holder, the one for the sling won't work though, it's clipped to my shoulder with a D-ring, and it has no buttstock. I'll give it a try I don't want anything else around my waist, just more stuff to get caught up on things and we don't want that History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. Eisenhower
  9. I actually have no open place on the front of my rig. I don't wear a vewt its a plate carrier so space is limited. My waist is occupied by my sidearm and spare mags for that and I've gotten away from drop leg rigs after my last two trips out here. I'm just trying to be creative and explore options so I figured I'd give that a try, like you mentioned though, I wasn't sure how much room I'd have on the grip if there was something like that on it. I used to have a little velcro rig that went on the front of a blackhawk vest that held 12G rounds, maybe I could digone of those up and put it on my sleeve pocket. 10. agree completely.Quote I don't see how any reasonable person wouldn't. sure there are other ways to deal with the situation, but the emotions experienced when you catch your wife cheating, that's something that no jury can say are controllable. I've personally dealt with them, and it's not pretty I'm with you. take care History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. Eisenhower
  11. even a round holder on the front of your vest would be better than adding more weight to your boom stick IMO. Quote I just wanted to try a few different things, as of now I have a 6 round holder on the reciever. I carry 00B and and Slugs on the front of my vest. I don't have a specified place for my breaching rounds yet and would like to have one to carry some extras and still be able to seperate the buisness rounds though. 12. Why should the husband be charged? Is someone raping your wife not grounds for physical action? And the wife should have to serve the full 20, she put the man in the position to get himself killed by screaming rape, and if the guy hadn't been killed and she had continued to cry rape he could've been wrongly charged with being a sex offender. She ruined two peoples lives, she deserves to burn. History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. Eisenhower
  13. I already have 6 mounted on the reciever, I was trying to find something for the forward rail. I'm trying to have two seperate places to store rounds on it so I can seperate lethal and non-lethal rounds a bit more. History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. Eisenhower
  14. I'm trying to find if anyone makes an ammo carrier that is compatible with a rail system. I'm going to replace the forward grip on my shotgun from the factory one to a Picatinny rail system so I can throw a taclite on it and I wanted to see if I could also add a round carrier. Here's the rail system I'm getting...... Surefire Any one know of a company that makes 'em? History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. Eisenhower

  17. That's good but I don't think flowers.com delivers over here Besides this guy knows that girls don't want him, they want me History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. Eisenhower
  18. There's gonna be some good fights comin up I'm waitin for Wanderlei to step in the ring again History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. Eisenhower
  19. Hide battery powered travel alarm clocks (the wallet sized ones) at different locations around his/her room, each set one hour apart. Quote I love that one, unfortunately it won't work on the guy I'm trying to get, he just sleeps through it. We did have one of our old engineers who built a loft in the team room build a watch into the wall that went off every morning for fifteen minutes until it ran out of batteries, two years later!. I'm going to go check on the blocks of ice now. and warped, the boots are only half frozen so its ok!! i left the tops and laces out of the ice so they can be tied in nice bows for him when I give em back. 20. Hey Kirk, do you guys have any pics or video from the last camp you can share with us? What kind of an average were you guys pushing at the end of the camp? 21. Let's hear your best ideas, I have the rest of the year to live in this small building with my teammates and what better way to pass my free time in Iraq than by getting on each their nerves I started today by taking my team engineers shoes, boots, shoes, flip flops, everything, and cramming them all into a couple of ammo cans filled with water. They are in the freezer right now, I'll get em back to him sometime tomorrow(along with the big blocks of ice they are inside of) after he spends the entire day looking for them. This was payback for a joke he played on about half the team back in January, we've just been waiting for a good opportunity to get him back, I tihnk he's forgotten we still owed him I love causing trouble. 22. I used to fly OC as well, tons of fun but I kind of like the extra work I pick up being on tail. I tried tail for the first time last spring, did some 2 on 2 with Kirk as my piece partner, lots of fun. History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. 23. Here, I got those answers for ya buddy, I'll hit em up in order. Yes, most of the time, for the most part, some goofy guy that likes martinis(which makes him good in my book!), where else would they build a monster, and only if they're full of tasty goodness. Hope that helps!! So where ya been, I haven't seen ya lurking in quite a while. History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. Eisenhower
  24. How much more do I have to do to make it clear that orange panels mean a whole lot of nothing? The only thing an orange panel is going to do is make the person behind the trigger double check what they are about to kill. Iraqis have orange panels, plain and simple, and ht epilot did notice the panels and make an attempt to confirm the target. Once again, a grave series of mistakes was made but calling the pilots fuckwads as you have, well no matter how well you word your argument you lose a whole lot of credibility when the word fuckwad, or was it fuckwitts, or whatever else comes out of your mouth. Our soldiers aren't perfect and neither are yours, but we're put in some pretty shitty situations and do the best we can.
