I don't really see churches as businesses. They should have the right to refuse to do anything going against their beliefs. By forcing churches ( who believe the Bible to be true) to hold receptions for gay couples, is showing a complete lack of respect for their faith. People don't want to hear Christian's beliefs being thrown at them, well I don't want to hear this polluted world's beliefs being thrown at me. Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...

Critics say the regulations would mean hotels could not refuse to provide rooms for gay couples, and religious groups would be obliged to rent out halls for gay wedding receptions. Um, excuse me? This is absolutely wrong. Churches should be able to refuse to hold gay wedding receptions. How is this NOT forcing "beliefs" down on Christians, instead of leaving Christians alone to believe what they want to believe? Such double standards. First off, any man can call himself a Christian and could probably become a pastor. JESUS is the leader of Christianity's teachings, not some man. Furthermore, who are you to judge how a man spends his money, Christian or not? Even if a Christian man gave away 50 million dollars, he might still have 10 million dollars to live a wealthy life. Are you telling me this is wrong? Were Jesus' teachings telling EVERYONE that it's a sin to be wealthy? I don't believe He was. It's a sin to LOVE money...but you can still be wealthy and give away a lot, without loving money. By the way, I encourage you to read the Bible and see what it has to say about money and the principles of using money, rather than just judging Christians who have it. I believe it is the job of the Body of Christ, His church, to take care of the pastor and his staff. Afterall, if a pastor spends most of his time counseling, praying, coming up with sermons, spending his time with people, how else is he supposed to be supported? His MAIN job is to take care of his "flock", the fellow believers under his leadership at his church. If you read the book of Acts, you will see that the believers all put their possessions together and if anyone had need, that need was met! Another thing about money. My belief is that one reason GOD calls us to give 10% of our income, is due to the fact that the love of money is the root of all evil. If we are giving our money to God, to be used for His purposes ( helping the poor, spreading the Gospel) we are getting rid of 10% of something that we could potentially fall in love with and forsake God over. "The wealth of the WICKED is stored up for the RIGHTEOUS."

Well, I will try pretty much anything at least once, and maybe even again eventually. I hate lima beans, but I usually try them again every year to see if my tastes have changed. It hasn't worked yet. I was taught not to be picky, so I will try new foods...but part of trying them is learning how to try it with an open mind ( "If it looks disgusting, that doesn't necessarily mean it is...") .
