HEY! Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...

You obviously haven't read many windcatcher posts. I'm more into giving words of encouragement. Which is probably why I don't post in bonfire much anymore. Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...

Wow! That sounds horrible!!!!!!!!!!! Sounds to me like it's the kind of relationship that will soon sour ( her and her new guy) so don't feel too bad. I mean, all the time spent with the WRONG person keeps you from meeting the RIGHT person. You sound like such a sweetheart, I'm sure you'll find someone else soon. Be lucky you found out about the kind of person she is BEFORE you married her! She doesn't deserve you, so quit pouting and realize YOU didn't lose her, SHE lost you. I think something that gets overlooked a lot in relationships is the differences between men and women. I don't care how politically uncorrect it may be, but MEN and WOMEN are NOT THE FREAKIN SAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My husband and I have misunderstandings that I believe deal a lot with how different we are as MALE and FEMALE. For example, often times I may try reading into something that he says, when what he says is what he means, no hidden meaning. Understanding gender differences can really help one have a great relationship. Talking about things that come up between you and your SO is crucial, as well as apologizing and granting forgiveness. Does anyone else find this slightly unsettling?

Okay, that is just a little weird. I could see maybe jumping on an animal's back might be funny, but their stomach? Mother to the cutest little thing in the world... -
Wow, if that's the only reason why men propose, there must not be such a thing as true love! Anyways, to answer your question: My then boyfriend and I had always talked about getting married, he would always ask me ( nothing fancy, no proposal, just "will you marry me", that sort of thing. We had talked about it many times and knew that was our future, so one day I just told him yes and we got married.

Do extremely religious people piss you off?
windcatcher replied to skittles_of_SDC's topic in Speakers Corner
Thou shall not test the Lord thy God. If you have no wish to be loved by God, that's your desire, but that won't keep it from happening. As far as bad things happening, we cannot see the bigger picture of why things go on the way they do. When I was pregnant my FIRST year of marriage, our house got foreclosed, car got repossessed, my husband lost his business, my car barely ran and the heater broke in the middle of winter, etc, and guess what? It was NOT a fun time. I cried, I struggled, I didn't like what I was going through, but ya know what? The circumstances made me a more thankful, humble person. We can wish that life is full of good things and that we won't ever suffer, but suffering is a part of life and many lessons can be learned from it. I know this can be a hard concept to grasp, but God is in control. We are not God and we won't understand everything till heaven, but I do believe that we go through things on earth for a reason. Do extremely religious people piss you off?

Before I even clicked on your thread, I knew what you really meant was that CHRISTIANS piss you off, not just religious people. There is NO other name above the name of Jesus, and there is NO other name that offends more than the name of Jesus. Hmm, I wonder why? Perhaps because there is an enemy out there who shudders at his name, and is wanting to take out whomever he can, getting them to disbelieve in the ONE who can SAVE them, set them free from their burdens, their anguish, their pain, their guilt, their sin. It's never too late, if you are still alive and breathing...to accept the ONE who created you, the ONE who loves you more than you or I can possibly comprehend, the ONLY ONE that has the power to redeem you. Call me crazy, call me mindless, call me a fanatic and hate me, but I have experienced God in so many ways that I could never reject Him. I am imperfect in countless ways, but my main desire in life is to please God and live a life worthy of being associated with Christ. Mother to the cutest little thing in the world... -

I would assume if you truly loved HER and not IT, you wouldn't even have to ask this question. Mother to the cutest little thing in the world... -

Onward Christian Soldiers (with special new laws)

I love how people like you absolutely hate to have religion shoved down their throat, yet do the EXACT SAME THING with their lack of morals. You don't want to hear about God? Well I don't want to hear about evil that is called good, nor do I want to see a parade of things that blaspheme God. Mother to the cutest little thing in the world... -
OOOuu, there's SO MUCH I could say about the whole child support/custody issue going on in this country. IMO, if the father doesn't get the privilege and LEGAL RIGHT of being in the child's life, he should not be held responsible for taking care of them financially if he isn't allowed to be the parent he needs to be. Hey guys! I haven't been on in a LONG time, been busy with work and chasing the little one around, and now we're in the process of moving. Anyway, thought I'd post a baby update for anyone who cared to hear. Elijah is already 15 months old, says momma and dadda, ball, shoe, duck *(that's what my hubby tells him our Siberian Husky REALLY is), tru ( truck), ju * juice) and of course gibberish. He loves to give hugs and kisses when he's in the mood, he LOVES playing with trucks, cars and motorcycles ( and makes the motor sound), and he is incredibly active. As I'm sure other mothers can attest, I'm amazed at how much he is growing up. I wish I could just hit the pause button and soak it all in, but I can't. I absolutely enjoy every moment when he lets me cuddle with him ( if only for a second), making him laugh hard when I tickle him, and of course just having him to lavish with love. Here's a few recent pics of him: Mother to the cutest little thing in the world... -
I got one from mother's day and recorded a few short videos of my son. I tried to download the reformatted video clip so I could email it to my sister, but it won't work. Does anyone else have a FlipVideo? How are you able to send the videos without having to host it online like at myspace? I just don't have the time or patience right now to figure it out. Could it not have gone through the email since I was using dial-up and the connection was so slow? Thanks! Sarah Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...

Ha, that's hilarious! I'll have to remember that one for future reference, though hopefully I won't have to! That sounds like a smart woman; unfortunately I think we have too many idiot parents in this country who just go along with what their KIDS want! Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...

I met my hubby first on a local online skydiving forum ( NOT dz.com ) and he offered to drive 2 hours to school to get me so I could jump at his dropzone. We hung out some that day and he paid for my dinner when a whole group of us went out to eat. We talked in his car and from there on out we just decided we really liked each other. We went on our first date a few weeks after that.

that's why they cal it acompassionate profession. burn out rate is very high. Yes, but I think this country is in great demand for nurses, isn't it? I'm not quite sure if I really want to do it, or if I would even be able to do it. I'm just looking at my options and trying to figure out what road I would like to take. I'm not really into science much, I'm more of a right-brained, artistic, creative kind of woman, so I don't know how well that would work in the nursing profession. There are just so many things I could do with my life and my problem is I have too many desires. Such as I'd like to write children's books, become a nutritionist or personal trainer, give presentations/speeches, do human resources/training and development, and be a counselor. Does anyone know if they allow you to "shadow" a nurse working at a hospital? Or do you already have to be in some kind of internship program? Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
