    God I've been in Arkansas too long. ANYWAY, I am actually thinking about publishing a children's book, complete with illustrations done by my most artistic and talented little sister. Can anyone give me advice about presenting it to a publisher? I know I could just google some info, but I would really like to talk to some people about their experiences.

    Hahah, that's great! I used to think parents should TRY* not to embarass their kids, now I think it's more fun to try and embarass them mwhahaha! Awe thanks! I know, he's growing so fast, but I'll just keep having em so they stay little. . They truly are a joy to have around though, aren't they?!?!?!?!

    Sounds like the Rapture. All the kids not doing their homework get left behind. There is no network of bad guys capable of taking over tens of thousands of schools so they can kill millions of kids. If that's their goal, they'd be better off as Disneyland (though mickey mouse doesn't fuck around when it comes to security) or the beach on a hot day. So the words "Muslim extremists" mean nothing to you? And I don't think this is something to be joking about. Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...

    I was just curious as to how many of you have heard about the "impending" terrorist plan to take over schools here in the U.S. and kill 2 million children? It seems the media doesn't really want to talk about it, and that's why I'd like to know how many have heard about it? I would like to find out more about this and what we can do to insure the safety of our children in school. God I hope this never happens... edited to add: I have searched the most recent pages of threads for a similiar topic but didn't find one. Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...

    I think the dress is cotton, and the stain is probably foundation. Yes, the dress has been through the dryer. I actually took the dress to the dry cleaners and they said they couldn't get the stain out. Then I read the tag on the dress that said "Do not dry clean."     Help me! One of my favorite dresses has a small stain that is set in. Am I forever doomed to wear a stain, or can anybody let me in on a secret formula to get the stain out? And PLEASE do not tell me to use something that will end up actually destroying the dress, thereby getting rid of the stain. Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...

    Looks like switching majors, switching schools and having a baby is putting me at the 6 year mark JUST to get my bachelor's degree. I'm thinking about going back to school this fall to major in psychology and minor in family science or family studies. How long did you take to get your degree, and was it worth it?     Okay, so since I didn't get to post any pictures of my own yet, here are some photos of my baby boy. Thomas Elijah Kalagias, born March 30, 2007 at 4:46 am, at 6 lbs, 6 oz, 19.5 inches and the sweetest thing in the world. I am so blessed to have this precious gift. Being a mother is the most wonderful job in the world and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
