Speaking only for myself, I went to Calgary South Medical. Nice modern place. Latest in equipment. World-renowned specialists. It was great to have a leading-edge medical procedure that is being "investigated as a protocol" by your FDA. And did it it on less than 20 days notice. Yes officer, I understand. Perhaps I am blessed as my interactions with the RCMP , OPP, QPP, and various city police in Canada have been most acceptable. However, I have had less-than-positive interactions with police on your side of our border, including the (verbal) threat of physical violence for innocently removing my riding leathers in 92 degree weather in Coolidge, AZ, after we had already been talking pleasantly (or so I thought) for at least 3 minutes. I stand corrected; I'm not employed in Law Enforcement, but friends are. I have no criminal record or outstanding civil claims. I'm not American although I visit the Eloy area extensively. As I am currently struggling with some health issues that physically preclude me from instantly complying to a bellowed demand to "raise your hands and keep them up", or "get on your knees", or "lay face down", I worry how a policeman in your country might react to my disobedience. I would like to tell the policeman about the infirmity to allay his/her concerns but unfortunately, especially under stress, my med's prevent me from talking above a hoarse whisper.
