  1. kallend, you OBVIOUSLY show your total lack of knowledge of the situation. Stop reading Senate reports and listen to what Cheney tells you. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  2. Gee, let me see. A republican endorsed senate report detailing the non-connection and AQ. With sources. But when Cheney comes on and says it is wrong, who do you believe? Yes, blind love and blind hatred work in much the same fashion. It IS okay to admit you were incorrect in doing something. In fact, that is the first step to fixing a problem. It does not make you weaker in the slightest. What DOES make you weaker is refusing to back down and look at other methods of problem solving because of incalculable hubris. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  3. The Republican National Committee has declared they will be using most of their money for "negative ads" about democratic PERSONAL issues and local controvesies. So, the GOP is actually TELLING US they will be slinging mud. Well, at least they are being truthful about it. http://www.indystar.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060910/NEWS06/609100466/1012/NEWS06 The sad part is that, these days, if it were Democrats in trouble, they would be doing the same thing. God FORBID any candidate focus on the issues and how they will make our country better. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  4. Pretty obvious to me. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  5. You like that with the ladies too? Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  6. For me: moustache - out goatee in when my hair is long, so in the winter goatee out when my hair is short moustaches alone usually look silly -- mostly when they are full magnum PI style.
  7. Or, God forbid, the lights go on the fritz and they have to deal with blinking red lights. It is now a stop sign you idiots. More on thread, I agree that those who cause accidents should get training. But, as jlmiracle says, can we get some training for the bikers who ride down the BETWEEN the lanes (on the line) or who ride on the burn? There were FIVE of them doing that last week on 95 as I drove south. Or the ones who think that since they have a small bike they can weave into the 10 foot space between the car in the next lane over and the mac truck in their lane? Drivers are not the only ones who can be idiots. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  8. Nope. I don't get it. But you ALWAYS stand by whatever you type...no matter how wrong it is anyway. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  9. why did you quote unbreakable? Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  10. You know, I bet I could win 4-way gold at nationals if I could only be bothered to get off my ass and do something about it, and re-write the rules to suit my style of skydiving. Just can't resist, can you... what was that you said about not needing a nanny? kallend's inablity of being able to resist taking jabs is almost like your inablity to resist responding to him. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

  16. You have a very good point and one that I don't disagree with EXCEPT for the addictive nature of drugs. Guns are not addictive. Well, see, you just brought that up. It was not in the message I responded to. You merely said that people under the influence cause problems. So, let me go with this and then I must take my leave. Does the illegality of drugs cut down on addiction? Has it cut down on crime? On usage? Nope. People with addictive personalities find ways around laws to fill their needs. I know people who have casually used "harder" and "more addictive" drugs for years. Not one is an addict. Not one has caused societal problems. On the other hand, I know quite a few that ABHOR drugs but are alcoholics and have cause all sorts of strife. Others are compulsive gamblers. Addiction comes in many forms. I don't think MJ is one of them..at least not physically. The idea that addiction will go up because it is legal is not a valid one to me; short of destroying all drugs everywhere, people with addictive tendencies will find a way. See you later.
  17. The responsible person will not use EITHER in a manner where someone will be hurt. On the other hand, the irresponsible, mental deficient, or incompetent can use either to harm themselves or others. The problem is that you make that assumption that because something alters brain chemisty, it is more risky than a gun in the hands of an idiot. I do not believe it is. And I believe that with government regulation and HARSH punishments for those who cause harm under the influence, there would not be an issue. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  18. Whoa. You got really agitated there. Want to see me levitate? Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  19. I hate to say it micro, but your argument there about why drugs should be regulated works in EXACTLY the same way for guns. God I hate crossing two topics, but it is the truth: ----------------------- I think it behooves the government to regulate guns that are harmful not only to people who could shoot themselves, but who would also not have the brains NOT to harm others while in and about society. ------------------------ The key is your word usage: regulate. Making them illegal is just the most severe form of that. Not many SERIOUS marijuana advocates want TOTAL freedom. They recognize the need for tax and control of the substance. Same as alcohol. I really want to avoid the gun argument, but there it is. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  20. clever, clever. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  21. Did the illegality of hash stop your friends? It did not. And if hash had not have existed, would your friends still be fucked up? I would say there is a good chance. My best friend from childhood is an alcoholic, crack user. He also started with mj. Do I blame pot though? Nope. It was not the DRUG that lead to other drugs...it was my friend's mental issues. Marijuana was merely the first salve to make him feel "better." If marijuana had not been there, it would have been something else. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  22. I think the point was that we have no idea where you got your statement about pot use and deviant behavior so we picked skydiving-related things to put into the same idea.. Think of skydiving like a pancake with a bunny on its head. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  23. Did Venezuela leave OPEC or something? Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  24. What about freeflying? We all know freeflyers are deviants. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  25. Marijuana has to be processed to be in a usable form. With your reasoning, cocaine and heroin are also "natural"-. These plants are processed before use as well. Hell, a lot of drugs are naturally grown and then processed for use. That does not make them safe or okay in any way. While I agree with your point (that natural is not always a good thing), the only processing marijuana requires is drying. Which you can hardly call a process (like cocaine or meth) unless you are using some complicated aparatus to dry. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
