  1. Wow, a little to much homoerotic connotation to that one for me. yeah, better watch out, he might reach right through the monitor and ambiguously fondle you Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  2. But they still do have carbs, which are broken down into simple sugars for energy, which is why you can eat so much of them. ] I know. You are correct in this argument. We can break some down. Not celluose but other sugars in them. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  3. That's what I was saying, but we can still process a little bit. Yeah, I was just expanding Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  4. We cannot process most sugars (because most of it is from insoluble fiber) in plants. That is why their carb count is so low. "According to the American Association of Cereal Chemists, "dietary fiber" is defined as the edible parts of plants or analogous carbohydrates that are resistant to digestion and absorption in the human small intestine and that are completely or partially fermented in the large intestine." Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  5. Cellulose is a sugar. It is a fiber. And no, we cannot break it down. BREAK IT DOWN NOW!! Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  6. How can you forget the name of your elementary school? Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  7. my ignorance, but what does 'verticalling' mean? Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

  9. plenty of people deploy with left hand Yes. Their reserve. I've also had/seen a couple of rigs modified for left hand deployment. Shoulder issues. Even one for a one armed man! A guy at our DZ dislocated his right shoulder during a dive and reached around and pulled with his left. He now has his rig modded so the PC is on the left. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  10. My DZ is FILLED with lefties. And we rule! Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  11. Each payperiod, I put into my savings account the amount in my checking account that is in excess of my paycheck. For example, if I get 200 dollars a week (just using a number, I would easily go broke with that amount around here!) and I already have 100 dollars in my account, that 100 goes right into my savings. That money is used for gear and trips. The money from jumping is just factored into my budget. I figure I will spend at least 250 at the DZ a weekend (on average for the year). It can be juggling sometimes but I am proud to say that I have no credit card debt that is out of control (meaning the amount is quite low). On the other hand, I am certainly not able to make 500 jumps a summer, but I find that the amount I do is just fine. Especially since I pack my own chute and that shit is tiring in the hot summer! Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  12. knife in the trashcan. You can view items by changing 'Use Items' to 'About Items' Or cheat and make the screen larger. The programmer put all the pieces you need on the side...probably thought they were hidden :) Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  13. I like the look and interface better....but there are issues with it that need to be worked out with the "directions" section. It found a nice route from my house to work that was only 20 miles, but it was only on side streets! That route would take me over 3 hours! It offered no option to force the directions to interstates, etc. Hopefully they will fix that as they work thru the beta. That is one thing that I wish ALL map sites did: provide MULTIPLE routes, all at the same time, to the same place. For instance, in DC, if I type in one place on one side of the beltway and another place on the other side, I ALWAYS get direction via the damn beltway. Well, what happens when I know there is an accident on it? hmmm....Maybe we should tell Google this. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  14. How is this different from Mapquest or MapBlast? It seems like it will only be a matter of time before people start bitching about Google being the next MS trying to take over everything. My guess when it will start? When they release their own browser. They recently hired one of the driving forces behind the Mozilla Firefox browser. Except that Google seems to do stuff much better the first time around. It seems like trial and error with MS. Their mail( google's), even in beta, rocks. And they appear to be less intrusive....so far. I am sure I will hate them sooner or later, but right now, they rule me. As for this map thing. I do like the look of the maps more. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

  16. Got 10 jumps in at Orange. Weather was awesome. 2 belly jumps, 6 sitfly jumps (including my 200th), and 2 tracking dives. And I only set out to do 6 jumps last weekend :) Oh, and another number: 140,000. The number of different songs we "attempted" to sing around the bonfire. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  17. That makes no sense. I use Firefox and I am a web developer. So I can steal all I want since this little script works only for IE. The web it not meant to be IE centric. And now that Firefox is gaining market share, the time has come to make things for a generalized standard and not just for Microsoft. Making things just for IE is just going to mean more code changes in the future as people get sick of it and find better alternatives. I find that using watermarks is a much better and more professional way to stop people from using your material. Anyway, about the site: I think the quality of the pics I looked at were excellent. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  18. Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. Highly underrated movie in my opinion. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

  23. My favorite prof was one of my math teacher but I digress. The best teacher I had was not an industry guy, but was this super anal retentive bastard who taught OOP and C++. You code had to be well formatted and commented properly or else. He would take off one point for every place where there was no indentation where he wanted it. Now, you may say, "that sucks ass" and you would be right. I hated him. But thanks to him, my code is readable and easy to understand today. In opposition, our prof who was from the industry was a genius, but she could not teach to save her life. Funny, she is now the head of the CS department Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  24. VB IS pretty slow. That is all I programmed in when I first got to this job. Not only is it slow, but when it is coupled with Access, the amount of database bloat is astounding. I mean a 2 MB database bloats to 15 MBs within a day of use no problem. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  25. Dude, that is a sweet video. I love the classic "guy standing on cliff as the camera pans around" shot. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
