My sugar glider doesn't like the sound of running water. If I'm carrying her in her pouch and turn on the faucet to do some dishes or something she starts to yell at me. She also gets angry when our dog sniffs at her. And then our dog Jonah.. he is kinda scared of the sugar glider. She has actually chased him out of the room before! Heres my guess: I think the guy will get close, maybe even do it on the first try, but it won't take long before he bounces. Since you keep saying crappy stuff about the DZ I'd like to let people know how this whole issue started.. Jeanne insisted that the pilots fly formation loads for sunset. Unfortunately we only had one pilot who was qualified to do this, the other pilots were fairly new. Our main pilot was learning to fly a caravan (which we are getting in less than two weeks) so that we would have our own pilot to fly the plane that the DZ leases during the summer. Then Jeanne got pissed off at the DZO because she didn't get her way. Comparing a small (but growing) DZ to a large DZ with an otter, a boogie, or a club isn't really fair on the DZO. Just like you wouldn't walk into a little mom and pop grocery store and start bitching about them not having a special kind of curry... you just need to accept that a small DZ is very different than a larger one and that you need to be patient sometimes and accept that fact. The DZO here is trying to develop the DZ and is constantly learning and coming up with new ways to improve the place. If you had some patience you would get to be one of the people who will help make this an awesome DZ! (Which I personally already think it is.) There ya go.. I've said my piece. I think it's the spotters job. If you have an otter load full of people and every single person takes the time to stick their head out the door, look down, around, forwards, backwards, underneath.. well you can pretty much guarantee that some folks will be landing out, or you'll be forced to do a few jump runs.
