I've attached a picture from just a couple of weeks ago. We had dinner at a friends house and then listened to some buddies playing drums afterwards. I have a pretty clear picture in my head of Josh sitting next to the fireplace, with his eyes closed and a huge grin plastered on his face, rocking back and forth to the drum beat. I was enjoying the music, beer and laughing at Josh's cheshire cat grin. So last saturday I had my birthday party and Josh gave me a card with little stickers (that I promptly put all over his face) and a bloom county book of cartoons - specifically the one that bill the cat was introduced in. Been looking through it, and I found a cartoon that I think Josh would have gotten a laugh out of. I'll try to post it, hopefully I can figure out how to get it big enough. We had a little candlelight thing tonight in Josh's memory. Shared some of our stories about Josh and leaned on eachother. Its still such a shock and we're all a bit numb. Right now I just feel sorry that Josh had to go feeling so alone. He was so loved by everyone that knew him. That guy had a heart of solid gold. One of the finest people that I've ever had the pleasure of being friends with. His memorial service isn't planned yet, but if anyone wants to send me a message I will get the information to you when it's all planned out. Right on! That is exactly the step I had to make when I began to lose weight. It really does help to make it official, that way it kinda feels like there is a bit more (positive) pressure on you to succeed. Even before the weight is gone, you will start to feel so much better about yourself just because you're taking control and doing good things. good luck! I think as long as you're not whoring yourself out to get jumps and coaching, you can date whoever you want. If I didn't date people on the DZ I would have a very lonely love life. I can't see how dating a whuffo could work out if you spend every weekend at the DZ. Unless maybe you only dated seasonaly.... I've got a good gift idea.. its cheap.. when I gave it to my mom she cried a lot... so thats a success. Go out and buy like 4 or 5 different scents of candles. They say that scent is the strongest for associating memories.. so pick ones that remind you of something between you and your mom. Then go write a note about all of those memories of you two that the candles represent. Some ones that I did: I got a seashore one that reminded me of our girls only trip to the oregon coast when I was ten.. I got a chai tea one that reminded me of all the tea parties we've had. I got a lemongrass/basil one that reminded me of the fun we've had cooking food together.. especially thai. i got a cutgrass one that reminded me of gardening with her during the summer. Got any ideas now? I've kinda done the opposite.. Once I started on my weight loss venture I also started to set aside a small amount of money each week so that once I got to my goal weight I could afford to order a brand new sexy jumpsuit!
