I like to jump with an AAD, probably 99% of my jumps I have had one. I've done plenty of jumps without one and it's never been a big deal, but I certainly feel more comfortable knowing that I've got a back-up. I fully realize that shit could go down and me having an AAD might not save me.. but I do know a few people who are alive today because of an AAD and I knew one person who should have been alive today. The point of a language is to communicate. When someone says that they are "proud" of someone, when really the "proper" word to use is "admire", who cares? The point is effectively conveyed by the word "proud", and to the masses (myself included) it may even be more effectively communicated by using the "wrong" word. Does this stuff actually bug you or was that just a random musing that you had about language? And more importantly, are you French? L&B Rock!! I always advise people to buy from them. I really have no idea if their product is superior (although I am personally a satisfied customer), but when you buy one of their products you are certain to get the best no-hassle insurance plan EVER rolled into the cost. I once e-mailed them because I was having trouble with my protrack (of 6 years and 1200 jumps) going through batteries at a fast rate. They asked me what batteries I was using-- found out I was not using the type that they recommend. So, basically it was my fault. However, they asked for my address and about 2 days later I got an express package from them with about TWENTY sets of new batteries for FREE!! I passed those free batteries around to everyone at the dropzone with an L&B product and still had a bunch leftover. I've got a flite suit.. that was the local suit. So local that my old home shared a wall with the place where they make them. My flite suit and pants have held up really good. For my next suit I will probably get a firefly. I just think that they look really good and from what I've observed they seem to hold up fine.
