I am here. Woke up at 7:00am and made it to the dropzone. Jumped all day. It was hot as hell. Came back home at 10:00 tonight. Something happened to the Night Auditor at the hotel I manage and I could not reach anyone else so I am working until 7:00am tomorrow. After a long day of jumping and baking in the sun I am at work. Up for 24 hours straight! And, I told someone who had a bag lock cutaway today that I would be at the dz at 8:00am tomorrow to help her find her Spectre in the woods tomorrow morning. If I am going all the way there I must make a few jumps. So, I guess it is no sleep for me this weekend. Might have to call off on Monday!

HH, just keep the CD in and continue to listen to it and it will grow on you. Find some time to sit alone with the music turned on to nice enjoyable volume and read the lyrics and listen to E Street band perform and put yourself in Bruce’s shoes. This is the first full studio recording album of Bruce and the E Street Band since Born in the U.S.A. I don’t know if you went to a show on their last tour for their Greatest Hits album but they played their older recordings prior to the Born in the U.S.A. era. Coming from a family who listened to his music early on I appreciate the older music more than the newer stuff. However I enjoy them both! I believe on the new tour they will be highlighting a lot of the “newer” songs that most of the younger generation will recognize. The song Waiting on a Sunny Day reminds me of a Skydiver waiting for the rain and clouds to go away! Time magazine will have him on the cover. Glad you all are having so much fun. Clay was supposed to arrive today so I am sure you are partying with him now. Cheese and Rice! Rhino is in the DZ.com tent? I knew he would not be able to keep away! P.S. Where are the pictures? OK, no boobie pics but at least send us some other pics! I know Bill Von has some hi tech stuff you can at least send us pictures!

I have cut down on my drinking but when I do I have gone from Becks to Pacifico! Anyone else had it? It is really good.

Sorry to hear about that Chuck. I too have tickets but I do not think I will make it. I can not get out of Boston until next Friday and I do not want to make the trip plus the drive to Rantoul and then get settled for just one and a half days worth of jumping. Oh well, there is always next year.

Mark Gerlach is the Head Instructor at a DZ in Arkansas and he has a totally decked out bus. He took a school bus and chopped it up. It is now 2 floors, 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living room, functional bathroom and a hot tub on the roof. He drives it around to different dropzones during the Arkansas off season. He is an Australian and is cool as hell. Great skydiver too.

Mirage will be at the Casa and Helicopter Boogie at Skydive Pepperell at the end of August. They will have demos there. I have a G3 Unisyn and I am anxious to see / jump the G4 to see the differences. It is a ways away but I will let you know what I think when this happens.

That is so true, Dave! I have bailed out my friends and when my best friend was in jail for DUI I was in jail too yelling at the officer for giving him a D.U.I. Cops just think they can put you in jail for yelling at them and cussing them out. All charges were dropped. I was pretty drunk and I have never yelled or cursed out a cop since. My best friend and I just laugh about it.

Sex is a great way to exercise. I just got back into the "swing" again from that standpoint and I can't wait to continue it over the weekend. Other than that I have kind of gotten out of shape this year with all the moving , etc. I generally keep in shape swimming and lifting weights. I love to swim and it is great exercise.

I remember when I caught the "bug". I ended up losing my job, maxed out my credit card, and thought of nothing else but skydiving. Since then I have gotten a new job, gotten out of debt, and yet all I think about is skydiving. It is nice to know that I can jump anytime I want to for just $20.00. The initial catastrophe it caused in my life from a financial / work standpoint was well worth it. We only live once!
