I have lost my mother and my best friend before I was 21 and I can not express the feelings I had when I knew they were sick and there was very little I could do. Kevin (Lawndart21), I have a Mirage G3 Unisyn and I mine is a little too tight as well. I sent them an e-mail and they told me it would be $300 to make the corrections since it was made to the specifications that was ordered. Did you pay anything? Answering your question now, Other than that I do love it. It is still very comfrotable although it could fit a little better. My main is a Spectre 170 loaded at 1.3 and I have a PD 160R with one ride. Packing error. In my opinion you can not beat Mirage or PD. Nathan

The Key West DZ is for D License only...WHEN...they allow you to jump because it is mostly a tandem factory with a C-182. I just spent a year in Florida working and I will recommend going to Orlando. Maybe stop by Sebastian on the way up (Great views I hear). In the Orlando area you have Lake Wales, Deland, Z Hills, Sky Venture, and I have heard rumors that Daytona Beach will be opening up again soon. Because you have 30 jumps I would recommend asking manifest for an instructor and let them know that you would like to jump with an experienced jumper rw/vrw and they will introduce you to someone that the instructors will allow you to jump with. Either that or you could pay for coached jumps but finding a group of jumpers to go with is key. Most important thing is to introduce yourself to others and let them know what you are there to accomplish. These are big dz's and it will seem like everyone is packing / skydiving within their groups but they are all friendly and cool to hang with. As stated before...let manifest know and the instructor will hook you up with someone to jump with if not themselves. Nathan

Uh oh. It seems I have some reading to do to educate myself on this part of the country. I guess I was asleep when they talked about all this in History class. I am originally from Illinois though. I have been making my way around the country. This is one of the perks of being in the hotel industry I guess. I do have every weekend off now so I can skydive without getting in trouble with the company I work for. Oh well. I am going to Lake Wales tomorrow before I head back to Naples to pack up. Will be in Virginia a week from Monday and will hopefully be jumping "somewhere" the following weekend. Maybe we will cross paths. Nathan

So after a year in Naples, Florida I decided that it was boring and my former boss decided that I went skydiving too much so needless to say my decision was to move. I have tried Orlando for three weeks and needless to say I went skydiving instead of looking for a job, however, I accepted a job in Virginia in which I will be traveling to Washington DC quite a bit and will be based in Virginia. Anyone from this area? I know Richmond has a great dz but what about some of the other ones that are closer to DC? Just asking. Nathan

6'0, 200 lbs. I really do not have the problem unless I am one of the last in and it is a larger formation. The fall rate is a lot slower. I know flying skills are the most important factor that is why I am going to go through some thorough coach dives with coaches / instructors to fix my problem. My major problem was that it was all fun because I was jumping and it was not competitive for me. However, I am competitive now and want to jump with / be the best.

I know Ground Rush. Been there. Just wondering why it has never picked up here. No biggie.
