I have never been in a helicopter so now I get to ride in one and jump out of it to. It is worth $75 bucks to me but I am made of money. It's monopoly money so it doesn't have that much value. Ok I am paper I will live with that! It sucks to just be paper but I will live with it and jump out of jets, planes and copters! -

I did my first tandem in November 2000 at Atlanta Skydive Center with "Jack Hammer". When I found out I was moving to Naples, Florida I went back to ASC in January 2001 and completed my AFF. Then I waited awhile until I started jumping again in Florida.

About the same as Dave. I want Bill Von to invent goggles that have some sort of a HUD so we can see our altitude and speed on the way down. This would sell well with freeflyers I am sure. -

No I did not. I was wondering if he got a chance to see 'dem boobies though. I met her at a lecture at the Georgia Dome and her boobies were not very big. With that suit on I bet there wasn't much to feel.

Actually you referred to it as a "roach being sprayed by Raid look," Clay! I didn't hear anything about an Egyptain. I like that better because the lead singer of the Bangles is a hottie and she has nice boobies!

So I was running late this morning and got out of the shower at 7:30am. I am changing channels to see what is on while I get dressed and I see Joan Lunden in an arch position on a table. Who do I see in front of her? The one and only CHUCK BLUE! The SkyMonkeyOne himself. He is instructing her on how to make a skydive and then he takes her to the wind tunnel at Ft. Bragg. Then she goes to Raeford and makes two tandems. The second tandem was a four point RW jump with the Golden Knights. I was late for work today and it was SkyMonkeyOne's fault!

I pm'd Sebazz but I will go ahead and tell the story. It is kind of like the 6 degrees of seperation thing... It was sunset and we were getting ready to load the plane when I noticed two new guys dirt diving a RW jump. Everyone was loading and they were standing by me. "Where are you from?" I asked. "We jump in California" they said. Thinking of all the people I know in California because of DZ.com I said "Where do you jump?". They said "Hollister." I said "Dou you know Sebastian (Sebazz)" They did a double take...seemed confused..."You know Sebastian? He sold me this RW suit I am wearing two weeks ago." We had a lot laughs and enjoyed our jumps. I can't wait to meet Sebazz and Lummy when I am in Northern Cal in September.

John, This happens. Gatsby was right in informing you about your beer purchases. You will be oweing a lot more beer in the next year. You might as well get a keg and have a party at you residence. Let us know the date!

Do what Lisa said and get it checked out man. I broke my three lower vertebrea and today I am in pain because I jumped this weekend. I never went back to the doctor after the initial emergency room visit. Maybe I should have gone back.

Am I wrong in saying the reason this twisted so easily is because of an extremely low wing loading and the higher you load the canopy the less likely line twists will occur while completing fast toggle turns? I am not saying that smaller canopies is safer in any means just asking a question.

It is not as easy as it looks. I had the joyous opportunity to jump with Clay for my first sit fly attempt. He still makes fun of me for it. It took me about 10 jumps to get where I could hold it. I am still just doing two way sits until I become more proficient. I do not want to go out with to many others or FF newbies until I am 100% confident in my 360's, forward / backward / side to side movement. I had a coached sit fly jump this weekend and I did ok. Our average speed was 160 mph.

345($$ Mirage Freebag, Pilot Chute, Handles and Reserve Repack cost): 7 : 0 The clouds were pretty thick all weekend but they cleared up late in the afternoon on Saturday and Sunday. Had some fun jumps!
