What I was asking was wheather or not I had to take the B license exam to get the C license if I wasnt going to bother getting the B license. The answer to that question isnt quite as obvious, although I suspected that it was a possibility. I was just seeking confirmation... __ My mighty steed

Thanks for your response, Tom. I guess another quiestion I might ask is this: My inability to be at the DZ on any occasion where they offered water training, and a general lack of effort to do so on my part, now finds me with enough jumps, and all the documented skill requirements and accuracy landings to get the C license. Do I need to take the B license exam at all or can I just test for the C? __ My mighty steed

I'm looking at the license study guide in the back of the 2006 SIM for C license study material, and I'm very curious why Section 4, category C is listed as something to study. Section 4 category C seems to be skills and learning objectives for AFF students. The guide lists other parts of this section for the B license. Am I looking at the right Section 4 category C and if so, why is that listed as a study recommendation? __ My mighty steed

Sorry. No alcohol means no alcohol. Unless of course I have this confused with "Not much alcohol April" No means no. Dispensation is irrelevant. Break the rules all you want, I dont think the booze police will be busting down your door, but if you drink even one tiny sip of wine then you did not suceed. I've gone 10 years. Thats a LOT of holidays where I watched others drink but did not have any myself, and I most definitely AM an alcoholic. You can go one month __ My mighty steed

You pay for the reserve to be repacked. Be safe Ed Given the cost of AFF jumps, the cost of a repack damn well aught to be waived even if the student deployed a reserve inappropriately. Its reasonable to expect that it might happen with a student. Making them pay for the repack is lame. Big time lame. Regular jumper on rented gear is different. __ My mighty steed
