  1. So he charges about $75.00 an hour for his professional services. I dont think thats all that outrageous. Still, I think having a personal trainer is a total waste of money. You can find out all you need to know by reading, doing research on the internet, and asking other people. If you need someone to "motivate" you or make you do just one more rep, well...I dont know what to say to ya other than get your ass in gear. If you can do it because he told you to, you can do it without him. Motivate yourself. I've been bodybuilding for years and have never had a personal trainer. __ My mighty steed

  8. If there is something to be learned from the incident, then post away. There should be another forum called "The Water Cooler" for people to engage in idle gossip, speculation, rumour, innuendo, or just flat out lie.

  16. If it came out with 2 sided velcro, imagine how easily itr could be dislodged with velcro on only one side. If it had been me, and I could see that some of the cable had been extracted along with the handle, I'd have pulled my reserve. I'd be afraid it might deploy on its own at a very bad time. __ My mighty steed

  19. Homo Sapiens. Nothing more, nothing less. Any belief that we, as skydivers, are somehow cooler, better, or different is just ego. As a participant in several extra cirricular activities, motorcycles, martial arts, bodybuilders, musicians, skydivers, I can say that the same attitude exists in ALL of these groups. Their particular activity sets them apart. Makes them special. Somehow better or above the "average" guy. Guess what? Its just ego. We arent better. We are the same. __ My mighty steed
