There is one day of classroom in which we will discuss the materials in the IRM and SIM that pertain to the coach rating. To be successful each candidate must score satisfactory on 2 teaching sections from category A, and on several topics for ground preparation for group free fall skills (cat. G and H.) You must score satisfactory on 2-evaluation jumps to test your air skills. When i met him almost a year ago, I'll admit it, i was intimidated as hell, I mean I am a big guy, but this boy is huge! However his canopy is small, his heart is large with enough room for all those he cares about, he is always there to teach me whatever i ask about, encourage me when i do well, scold me when i am a naughty skydiver, laugh with me, and just plain old be my friend, what can i say, I get all all excited when i see bright green cobalts flying, cause soon all those around might stand in awe as he comes in for another swoop, as they see the grace of a saint in a man that is a semi retired hellion. I can not tell you enough, that Eric Butts is my skydiving hero. Who do you look up to?

So in my efforts to find a new canopy for me one of my friends Ryan let me jump his 189 safire and it was a great ride, i loaded it up at 1.46 and the toggle pressure and riser pressure seemed less then the saber 2 and the openings while soft were way quicker then what i was used to with my triathalon. I put a total of three jumps on it, and i enjoyed it. What are the big differences to yall between the safire and sabre 2? Ahh, what a wonderful world.

I have jumped the 190 three times now, and I love it, in regards to what chuck said the flare, it was incredible compared to my triathalon, I tried flaring it like my triathalon, and i found that i did not even extend my arms 3/4 through the stroke of the flare and got the same amount of flare as i was used to with the tri, I loved the increase in speed, not too much, not too little but just right, well i guess kevlar is gonna get a call from me pretty soon, and all my freaking money too Ahh, what a wonderful world.

So i am interested in down sizing from a 220 triathalon to a 190 sabre 2, I load the 220 at 1.25 and if i get the 190 it will be 1.43. I have 341 jumps on the triathalon, and she is getting a little tired, she was used when i got her, and I was interested in hearing y'alls input on skill level/wing loading/josh is a retard and should never be allowed the downsize oppurtunity/just what you think in the meantime input. I would like to put at least 400 total jumps on the tri before she goes, to a better place.......speak on it!
