Here is the followup. I think it is almost worth a $1.50 for the laugh I got out of the Beenie Baby Auction! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1469&item=2960761236 Scott C. "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"

There are a number of ways to go. If you already have a fridge that you want to go with then there are a number of kits that are available. E-bay has a boat load of them, assembled and delivered for about $600 or a kit from $100 to $200 depooending on the CO2 tank and assorted other accessories. Go to E-bay and type "Kegerator" and search. I just did it and 125 hits came up. If you already have a fridge look at http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2355486886&category=20713 with the CO2 tank (shipped empty) OR http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2567756277&category=1267 with out the CO2 tank.... Hope the info helps. Scott C. "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"

Slut, Hell no that just good clean fun! Scott C. "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"

here is some info stolen from the web.... a "cut-in backpad", which has the lateral webbing exiting the backpad closer to the center of the rig, and wrapping around the jumper's waist. This allows for extra comfort, a snug fit and no movement of the rig during high speed maneuvers. Pics might be small but hope they give a good idea of what they are.... Scott C. I think one of the great things about skydiving is traveling around and meeting new and catching up with old friends for some fun jumps. A big way attempt, state record or not, is not only a fun weekend but a great excuse to go and travel. Should there be a number of locals on the dive, if possible yes. The higher the % the better. There hopefully will be a good % of locals since the more that are present the more interest that will be generated in other jumpers from the area. You also may get some additional jumpers including some of the lower jump number locals interested in learnig what to do to be involved with the next bigway jump. Separate from the jump everybody wants to partcipate in the inevitable shamless pointing of them selves out on the picture that shows up on the wall... I am guilty of the traveling bug myself. I went through a spurt of East coast travel to go on State record attempts a number of years ago. I think the Va state record is still standing from West point at a 87-way or so. Good luck in two weeks to Guy Wright and the Attempts to go to a 100-way, wish I could have been there....It just would have changed the local % though but hey, I grew up in VA and went to college there, would that have counted??

There were a lot of very cool images from cameras mounted on the gliders. Wingtips seemingly dragging across the grass as they were approaching then the rush of grass and then off a cliff! They had some bad-ass water swoops as well! Showed a number of pilots doing a diving approach, similar to a HP canopy swoop, then they were skimming across the water with one had dragging throwing up a spray. Really gives a different look too a pond swoop! Scott C. "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"

I was watching RE:EVOLUTION on Fox Sports and they were talking about some hang gliding competitions that Red Bull was sponsering. The acro event they had on when i tuned in looked fun and all but then they had a "speed gliding" event. They start at the top of the run and fly a ski resort slope racing to get the best time down the mountian. They have to "hit" gates, i.e. be through and below the tops of them on the way down. They were hualing ass down the hill. Looked really cool. One guy clipped his wing tip just after he "Hooked" it into one of his gate approaches and somehow popped up and pulled it out of his ass. I was watching it going those guys f**king crazy! At the end they noted that next weeks edition was going to feature the Red Bull event in Cleveland earlier this year. SO looks like they are going to give us skydiving and swoop lovers a little TV love! Scott C. "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"

Fun weekend! Had a nice 2 point 60-way on Sunday with the second point held for about 5-6 seconds. Very nice weather and a great group of people. Hope to get down there again for some of the future Big way camps! Scott C. "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"

I am going down for the 60-ways.. I was just curious if any other people on Dropzone.com are going to be there... Scott C. "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"

I have to agree with Chris here. A little extra time is well worth it. I had a line set installed by Precision on a Batwing I owned a few years ago. they did it within a weeks time since I had a trip planned. They did a ton of tweeks on the canopy and brought it up to current production standards (at the time) and it was more then worth it to have them look at the canopy and puyt the lines on. I figured the entire service should have cost double what i paid for it... Precision has taken a beating on its service at times on this and different forums . That noted I can only note I have great things to say about them based on my experiences. Scott C "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"

Personal favorits regarding jumpsuits are from Body Sport, I have had 3 of them over the years. They do a great job and good people own it. Customer service is top notch. I also like the fact that they are a NW based/owned company. They have been for the last 3-4 years starting when Mike G. bought the company from Gary. Last year he sold it to Jim S. and the company is now in Portland OR. There are a number of good jumpsuit manufacturers out there and you will find people that like each one... Now about Star, ID., that has a great little boogie DZ over the years. I went to 2 of the turbin boogies this year and had a great time, as I have had for the last number of years starting back when I lived in Idaho. Great place to get together with good friends for a weekend of jumping and having some fun. Larry does a good job of putting together a great little shin-dig. He is known for putting out a fantastic spread on Sat nights of GREAT food and good music, usually a band. Evenings at Dusk for the last number of years has been car bowling from the 182 and last month following the "bowling" he had a the biggest pumpkin cannon I have ever seen, think of a potato cannon juiced up with a 20' barrel. It was so big it was mounted on the back of a Ford 350 P/U (or something similar). Who knew a pumpkin could fly so far! Lots of fun!! Scott C. "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"

Look at the Lotus from Big Air Spotrz. It is similar to the Sabre2 but has airlocks. Great company, Great parachutes... Scott C. "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"

Square one has freefalling together #2 listed on their sight. It is the series of books your talking about. #2 and is for formations of 21+, I think it starts at 21 but anyway.... If they have #2 you might want to see if they have FreeFalling Together #1 Scott C. "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"

Here is the dive pool for competition. http://www.omniskore.com/divepool/IPC/about_downloading.htm Also you could check out "Freefalling Together" and "Freefalling Together #2" for larger formations. You shuld be able to get them at Square One or just about any another gear store. They are nice as a formation reference guide. They dont have names of formations but are a huge source of ideas for formations. they are broken down to sections of 2-ways, 3-ways 4-ways ect... Scott C. "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"

Crossfire-2 To be delieverred tomorrow

I have high marks down for a Samurai... Call Brian up at Big Air and see if he can hook you up with a demo. The canopy is schweet and gives you a step up from the stilletto class canopy but not quite as far up as going to a X-braced canopy. Scott C. "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!" -
I put over 1000 jumps mostly on a batwing 134 and but also a batwing 116. Compared to a stilletto I found it to actually be slower in initiating a turn but it would pick up speed buy the end of the first revolution and go like gangbusters with the rest of them!! The Diablo I have in my second rig now actually is one of the fastest turning canopies I have ever jumped comparing it to the Batwing and the Stilletto among others... I currently jump and love my Samurai for its turns now and think it is a faster turning canopy. Not the fastest I have jumped but very fast and very fun. Great bottom end with the flare though and a very nice swoop with the Sam.... Hoping to get a Sensi when it comes out though........ Scott C. "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"

I am sorry to hear that they dd not complete I have a number of friends that went and I was hoping that they would complete it... I am curious as to what they built to and if there is a overview that somebody put up somewhere???? I would be interested in taking a look to see bout the weekend... From what i have seen on line looks like everybody is ok but they just did not complete the attempt. Also are there any pics on line?? Thanks, Scott C. "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"

I recently bought a Free Fall Accessories altimeter and it is very accurate. I watched it note small altitude differences both in a car going up a hill and in the airplane during the first 1000' just to see how close it is compared to my previous altimeter. It is more accurate then my old Alti III by a long shot and it suprised me actually. it also suprised me that up high it read better then other altimeters when comparing it to the airplane altimeter. Just my 2cents... Scott C. "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"
