The Cypress is Dead, it is past the 12 year mark as I see it.. The 3 months +/- is for the times when a pack would put it into that range not when the pack would go out of that 3 month buffer. Just an opinion but I would tell him the cypress is dead since t is 12 yr + 1mo old and ask if he has another to put in or if he wants it to be packed up w/o the aad. With the 120 day pack window he can basically use the expired cypress for 1.5/2months on your seal and if something happens even though it might be considered a gray area with paperwork and the like as mentioned above inthe thread, you might have some seious dancing to do since you would have packed the unit up past the 12 year lifetime. Again the +3 months window is for packs before 12 years to allow for a little wiggle in my thinking, not the blatant situation your noting here...... Scott C. Have they said the tie breaker they used for 3rd? % looked earlier and USA and Russia were tied and both had a high of 17 in a round. Russia had 2 17 rounds so maybe that is the difference?? I agree on the 20 average as they are lower on the past scores that I can dig up with smaller round meets. From Skyleague for airkix an average of about 16 with some Swothwest league meets of 6 rounds and in 2 8 round meets the French women averaged 18 pts. The big thing as I see it is if 2 of the top 10 teams remain as women only and a number of the top teams have a woman on it: Fire, Sinapsi, Arcteryx.. that is a pretty good indicator that there is some level of equity available in terms of ability.. Jan, thanks for the combined sheet as it is cool to look at. I was looking at the top 2 womens teams at almost 20 avg and they are at 8 and 9 overall. That is outstanding and an argument that the Womens division really is not needed since Women seem pretty damn able to kick teams arses! I was thinking the same thing the other day. I dont think RealXstream is handeling the bandwith hit very well.... It feels like it has barfed when I try to look up other competition junmps for the meet. Also some of the jumps not in blue on skyleague are on realxstream. Fire smoked it in round 2 and has a 2 point lead after posting a 27! Sinapsi hit a 26 and lost another point.. Now if RealXtream has the videos up yet I will be happy. Looks like the guess at 6 teams for 3 spots is correct. top 6 range from 47 (Fire) to 42 (france). Top 4 only spread from 47 to 44 with 2 at 44 tied for 3rd. Hoping the meet get to all 10 rounds! and 11th might not be out of the question but it is looking like Fire is a tick better the sinapsi Scott C. "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"

WOW, I just watched 8-way rd.2 and the French SMOKED IT!! They looked smooth and completely in sync! Airspeed lost 2 pts on that round and looked rougher compared to the french.... It is not over yet but with the weather not cooperating completely, the rules for who will win if the meet cant complete make every round that much more important. I agree that drug use should not be tolerated in an skydiving setting, especially in the specifics (instructional setting) that you noted. But at the same time, I have a concern about the method you have chosen to make a vague claim for a confirmation of action... Register the same day as the post and make a wide ranging accusation on an unnamed DZ!! You could ahve about guaranteed that all will be against the statements as given on general principle alone. Should you say something, yes. Will you is the question??? If you feel that this "DZ" is doing the things that you say, then you have what some would say is as close as possible to an obligation to the unsuspecting people trusting the "Instructors" and "Staff" at the "DZ" to say something. To take it a step further, to some degree, you may even feel culpable to any adverse event if it occurred if you knowingly let this happen... Asking an opinion for an obvious answer in very broad generic terms is an easy way to avoid something that should be said. Your choice, as it always is, to do something right then to let things alone.. Dont say my above statment is a high and mighty position as I struggle with issues every day and it is tough to look at something while involved with it but given the specific accusations you give it is an easy global view decision to make..
