    I love getting new things. Well actually its not brand new, but new to me anyways. Im looking very forward to jumping this canopy. Is there anything i should know about this canopy, or any advice. I do realize that i moved a little fast for only having 250 jumps, but im gonna take it easy and be under some close watch. My wingloading is going to be 1.22 : 1. I previously jumped a sabre2 135 and did quite a few hook turns on it. Man...i cant wait until it gets here. Looking forward to many high hop-n-pops --I don't even know enough to know that I dont know--

    Im glad to see this thread is unlocked now....me and ying actually sent a few PM's back and forth about this subject. My opinion on this still is that if anyone went in with both handles pulled and did everything they could, that theres no way it could be considered suicide.     I agree...more people means more money, which means better facilities. But i also agree with wrong way that with more people, come more fatalities. But i kind of like the fact that when i say i skydive people go "Wooooaah" Where if i said yeah i play basketball, people dont think anything of it. I like the fact that its a smaller community and not everyone understands it. I wouldn't mind the nicer facilities that would come along with more people though. --I don't even know enough to know that I dont know--

    OMG dude thats WAY messed up!!! How could anyone on this website do something like that! I think whoever it is needs to be banned from here. Thats cold! What kind of low life goes to that extreem strictly because of his own personal dislikes about you? Its one thing to send you a PM or post personal feelings about you in here, but messing with someones LIFE??? Wow...i guess it can just show you that there are really LOW LIFE people no matter where you go. Well, i really hope that everything works out okay and you find a job that was even higher paying than the last.     I have flown a 7 cell spectre 150 and a sabre2 135. Im still way new at this sport with only 250 jumps so im sure there are other people that know way more about the subject but here are my opinions. My spectre had a steeper approach to landing and i never got the distance that i do now on my sabre2. It seems like i can get back from long spots a lot easier on my sabre2. The two canopies that you are comparing are a lot different. The Silhouette is a hybrid canopy that is part F-111 and part Zero-P, i believe it is top skin F-111. It is also more of a student style canopy. The Spectre is completely Zero-p it is also slightly tapered so you will notice a lot more responsiveness from it. It will probably fly faster and crisper than you are used to. Those are just my opinions. Again...i suggest that you talk to someone who knows a lot more about the subject than I do. Have fun on your new spectre. --I don't even know enough to know that I dont know--

    I'll try to answer this the best way i know how. Im going to assume that your exiting from a 182 or 206??? If its from an otter, the exits should be similar anyways. I jump out of 182's and the best way that i have found is almost come down the hill just like you would when belly flying. I go out, let go of the strut with one hand, so lets say im facing away from the door, then when i release, i raise my left side a little and it should bring you down the hill into a stable position. I hope you could kind of visualize that. If not that, i just kind of exit back to relative wind and try to lean forward so i keep my feet into the relative wind. But then again, everybody has their own way of exiting, its just a matter of finding your own way --I don't even know enough to know that I dont know--

    I've thought about this question a lot. I think that canopies will never change as much as the changed from Rounds to Squares. I think that canopies will just continue changing little bits at a time. They will probably end up being able to do some wicked things. Who knows what those guys down at PD, Icarus and precision are thinking up. As far as the comment about someone coming from a little backwoods 182 dropzone....Give me some time, when i turn 18 and go places, i'll get my name out there --I don't even know enough to know that I dont know--

    Hey way to burst my bubble man! hahaha, yeah i know my jaw will probably be stiff and all but i actually dont think that it will be all that bad, its been about 8 hours since i got them out. But yeah im sure it will get worse after tonight. Im just glad how its goin after hearing some peoples horror stories about it. --I don't even know enough to know that I dont know--

    Well today i got all four wisdom teeth cut out my head! Glad thats overwith! The doctor was a really awesome guy. I was completley asleep during the whole thing. I remember the doctor waving goodnight to me as he put the medicine in. The next thing i knew i was back in the car on my way home seeing double of everything. (Dont worry, i didnt drive myself ) I guess while they were wheeling me out i made them stop and kept thanking the nurse for her hard work and shook hands with the doctor and kept telling him what a wonderful guy he was, but i dont remember any of it. Im actually doin a lot better than expected, i have little to no swelling, no more bleeding, and im not having to take any pain meds at all! Glad i got it out of the way. Mom says she wishes she would have had her video camera. She prolly would have put in on our skydiving vid just to show everyone what a retard i looked like. --I don't even know enough to know that I dont know--
