I just cannot believe it. This is unbelievable . I give it 4-5 hrs before the rioting and burning starts. GZ will never know another peaceful day in his life. I think he should've at least caught a Manslaughter charge. WowZer. Best- Richard

I'm in agreement with you on all counts. I have a question for all of the people here screaming "MURDER" Really? I guess you guys think birth control is an infringement as well? Or, is it OK to see to it a child is never born in the first place? I'm of the opinion that NO ONE has the right to tell a woman what she can, or can't do with her own body. I wasn't impressed either. Like that matters. The one thing about the prosecutor's closing arguments, is he didn't come across as being congenial at all. He seemed mad for the most part. I found myself disliking this guy because of his demeanor. BUT, not so fast. He gets the "rebuttal" He did not show his entire hand during the first part of his closing argument. I'm watching Mark O'Meara's closing right now, and he's presenting facts, and the biggest thing is he's staying cool, drinking water as he's delivering his closing argument. So far O'Meara is out performing the prosecution. BUT, there's always the rebuttal. Best- Richard

I'm watching the closing arguments right now. The Prosecuting attorney is going out of his way to make GZ a liar, and a thug, and keeps referring to him as a policeman wannabe. He's taking so long, he's actually killing his own case. Haven't heard fro Mark O'Meara as of yet, but you know he's gonna shoot this clown down. They are going for 2nd degree murder, no less. MISTAKE! The judge is recessing untill 09:00 07/12/2013. I smell a "Hung Jury" because his presentation was self contradictory. Best- Richard

A remark someone made not agreeing with my comments on the condition of a "Stall" contributing to the crash of this aircraft. Let's see, a "Stall" is nose high, tail low" right? The clowns overrode their autopilot and took manuel control of the aircraft. I've seen the landing, and have landed there a million times myself. Not enough experience in the cock pit, end of deal. If they would have not gassed it up and got the nose up, more than likely not have been such a violent crash. With 7 seconds left to landing, they ask for a "Go Around" before the rest of the bad stuff happened. These 777's aren't even supposed to contact the runway for the first 1,000; They ran out of altitude and speed at the same time and crashed the big old jet. Not trying to be argumentative, but they stalled the stinking plane. Best- Richard

Mark: Your exactly right. He never had enough airspeed on final. Panicked he throttled up and the tail was ripped off. If you look at the planes final resting place, it's clear he stalled the aircraft. The plane landed not far away from the tail. He screwed up his final and didn't realize it until it was much too late. What he should have done was not throttle back up but simply land the thing and be done with it. He would have damaged the Aircraft, but it wound up a total loss any way. That's the Same route I fly when I go to work in Sumatra, Indonesia. I've got to leave again the 11th of next month. Hope all is straightened out by then. Best- Richard

Your taking the same path I did. Very forgiving canopy, you can land on a dime and sink in anywhere you want for an alternative landing if you have to. As you progress, learn to steer with the rears, and bit by bit learn to swoop that dog! Best- Richard
