    Send the rig to the manufacturer, have a new harness w/ articulated rings on it, it'll costs about $400.00 USD + S&H. Not the worst thing that'll ever happen to you this year.     Seriously, seriously doubt it. I've outlived a lot of folks. And they ALL said the same things your saying, prior to going in under perfectly good canopies. Don't get me wrong, I've done some very ignorant things in my time, but just like some others, luck and the good Lord were looking out for me. Lets face it, flying over a forest, or a few trees isn't very smart....Period. (And you should know it.)     Personally I don't care about Internet sales tax. I know everything I've bought on the Internet, I've paid sales tax on, you? On another point if I may, I pay taxes on my pay check, EVERYTHING I buy, anywhere. I want to know when do the taxes stop.     The idiotacol Pastrana (Whom needs to return to "Open Wheel") wrecked himself eventually and took his own (Rousch-Fenway) car # 60 out in the Nationwide series. Travis hit the safer barrier, lucky for him, them concrete walls are hard as, well you know what. "DanRicky," got wrecked in the No. 34 (Turner-Scott Motor Sports) Nationwide car and wrecked her own (Stewart-Haas) No. 10 car in the last lap of the Talladega 500 in the Sprint Cup level, who by the way won the Daytona 500 pole.....Funny, I didn't see that post anywhere in here.     State regulation says a facility like that cannot have more than 1,000# in inventory without notifying the County Official(s) and the ATF. This particular individual did not do either, never has during the duration of his business. Suspecions have it that meth heads were stealing 3-5 gallons of amonous hydrate ea. 24 hrs, and "Left some valves open. Well if that happened, God help them for not providing the proper security for this facility. The citizens of Texas WILL NOT have to pick up the bill for the extensive damage for this explosion. The man & wife team that have owned this fertilizer plant will probably be sued to death. Too bad, they're already in their 70's BUT they knew what they were doing was bad wrong, and they're not the only ones who knew it.     When I was Jumping SDSL & SDH, My rigger made me one, I thought it was really cool, and it is, I still use it. I caught more grief over that slider keeper than I did for swooping the area where the RW jumpers were holding a business convention in the LZ.     I certainly made the observation it was a "no wind day" when I watched the U-Tube video. I'm not blind. By looking t your profile, I just wanted to make sure YOU were aware they even existed.     I attribute most of the increase to the sagging economy. Being broke after having lived a fairly rich & prosporous life is more than a lot of people can bear. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. The Dow broke 15K today, but I didn't make any money off it, ya'll?
