Yeah, and no. If they would have done a thorough search of the jet, I feel confident they would have found some sort of contraband, somewhere. The beeb's own peeps that were traveling with him started throwing him under the bus saying that the beeb made them put their names on his luggage, credible? Who knows. Just the smell is probable cause for searching the entire jet, but they declined to so that tells me they didn't have enough, and you know they wanted to bust him for something. They could have charged him and his "Posse" with a number of charges. The PO-Po wasn't on the plane long enough to properly search anything, so there's no telling what all they had or didn't have. Personally I think the whole deal is a hoax. If the beeb and his posse would have been involved in such activities, they would have charged them all and locked them up so tight they would've had to pipe sunshine to them. I fly over the Pacific, and the Atlantic constantly and I've seen people kicked off the flight for way less than smoking dope, and turned over to security. Best- Richard

I don't believe all that. If the pilots had to don oxygen masks to keep from getting stoned, they would most assuredly have filed charges on the little ol' BOY. I think the whole story is a crock. If everything that was reported actually happened, they most assuredly filed charges on the lot of them. BUT, they declined to press any charges. Yet if this actually took place, the homeland security agents would have arrested all involved, they wouldn't have asked the cute little stewardess and pilots if they wanted to press charges. What I wanted to vote on wasn't a choice. I don't drink & I don't smoke...cigs or weed. Smoking isn't good for you it's offensives & it stinks to high heaven. And it's against my religion. (We're Lutheran) that's the biggest reason 4 business men & life long friends bought our own plane. A 78 C-182 wide body. Sure is nice! We got a great deal on it $165K. New interior, new paint & engine completely rebuilt. It flies like a dream. This way we don't have to tolerate DZ politics. God knows there's enough of that here. Best- Richard

It wouldn't take much f/ the wife & I to bail. We bought 10 acres outside of Amsterdam in 2001. It's got a 900 sq. ft. cabin on it near water. I can smell the snow from here! Last election my wife & I didn't even vote b/c honestly we felt the "Depth Chart" wasn't deep enough. I wish GW could have stayed, but if DICK Bruce Cheney would have been on the ticket, no dice. Really poor body position, no arch to speak of. D**k in the dirt, ARCH as much as you can especially at deployment altitude. There will be times when you may have to de-arch to slow down for the canopy deployment. But what ever you do listen to your AFF's. Learn to pack and eliminate those really hard openings. I had a Slammer when I first bought my own gear. I later learner there was this one packer who intentionally pack my rig without quartering the slider. That opening ended jumping for the day with a severely sprained right ankle. Best- Richard

This is nothing more than an incident waiting to happen. Man don't we lose enough sky divers each year without "Ramping Up" the potential scenario of having more sky divers losing their lives? Tandem rigs are not designed to have some CLOWN riding on top of the container hanging onto the drogue lanyard showing off and geeking the camera. +1 I can't believe how many sky divers that condone this insane stunt. A premie would kill a at least the "Top Passenger" It's stunts like this that will catch on at the DZ's and lives could be taken.
