I live in sydney, but I dont have the money for AFF yet. Probably in another month or so I'll be set to go. I need to sell more stuff first though. Have fun, I'm (sorta) right behind you! www.TerminalSports.com.auAustralia's largest skydive gear store

I'm from Frenchs Forest (but I guess you know that since I emailed you anyway!). I sold 47 cds today, only got $225 for them, but that takes me a little bit closer to my next jump! www.TerminalSports.com.auAustralia's largest skydive gear store

Ugh, I'm so jealous, I'm dying to start skydiving. Stupid money issues. I'm selling 36 cds on wednesday and just got another job to help pay for AFF. www.TerminalSports.com.auAustralia's largest skydive gear store

I'm planning on doing the AFF course at picton as soon as I get the money. I think I'll PM you about it if that's ok, just to get some extra insight. Congrats on passing level 1! www.TerminalSports.com.auAustralia's largest skydive gear store

Staying motivated isn't a problem, I'll never forget how it felt to jump out of that plane, and that's definately where I want to be again. I'm going to pawn some cd's in a couple of days so that should put me a lot closer to being able to afford AFF. www.TerminalSports.com.auAustralia's largest skydive gear store

Thanks everyone for the advice. I'll wait until I can afford to do most of the levels straight after each other. www.TerminalSports.com.auAustralia's largest skydive gear store

I just wanted some insight from people who know what they're talking about. I want to start AFF but am tight on money, I will be able to save the money for stage 1 within about 6 weeks, but wont have money for any of the other stages for about 3 weeks after that. Should I start as soon as I have the money or is it better to wait until I have enough money to do it weekly (which will add about 3 months onto the time before I can start)? www.TerminalSports.com.auAustralia's largest skydive gear store

I'm having a big one tomorrow night actually. It's my friends hens night, but I made myself designated driver in an attempt to save money. Every cent I spend puts me that little bit further away from my next jump and it's depressing! www.TerminalSports.com.auAustralia's largest skydive gear store

34 cds and 6 7" later, I am on my way to being able to afford the AFF course. The only problem is if I attempt to sell all these cd's at the one pawn shop they'll either think I stole them and refuse to buy any, or give me a shitty price per cd because there's so many of them. Might round up a few friends to take a few in for me. www.TerminalSports.com.auAustralia's largest skydive gear store -

Since I have only ever done 1 tandem jump I havent given up anything to skydive yet, and it turns out (once again) that I give blonde people a bad name. This didn;t even occur to me, but now, all of a sudden money for the AFF course looks so much closer. I'm off to ravage through my room, I can start on my cd collection..... www.TerminalSports.com.auAustralia's largest skydive gear store -
I dont eat it anymore because of moral reasons. I realised that I dont need to eat mea tto survive, and as long as I can survive that way I will continue to do so. I dont care if people eat meat, I'm not an irritating preachy vegetarian, hell, I'll even laugh at meat jokes. I dont get into moral arguements with people, I live the way I choose to, and I expect others to do the same. www.TerminalSports.com.auAustralia's largest skydive gear store

I haven't eaten meat in 6.5 years, and if I did it wouldn't be a steak that I'd eat, it'd be honey chicken. mmmmmmm the memories. www.TerminalSports.com.auAustralia's largest skydive gear store

Can't you do it on weekends or something? If I had the money I'd be cancelling things to fit in the time! Today brought happier times, a friend of mine passed a job she has onto me, so for $20/hr I take some guys dog to the local dog beach twice per week. So, and extra $40 a week is making skydiving that little step closer. Plus, I decided not to do another tandem jump since money is so tight and I want to do the AFF course anyway, so as soon as I have the money for stage 1, I'm there! www.TerminalSports.com.auAustralia's largest skydive gear store

Ah geez, if I have to go 5 months before my next jump I'll go mad! It's only been 2 weeks (and 1 day!)since my jump, and it'll be at least another 6 weeks before I can afford another jump. www.TerminalSports.com.auAustralia's largest skydive gear store

Thanks everyone, with each day my frustration at not being able to jump, and my enthusiasm to jump is growing! I'm passing the days til my next jump by reading up on the sport. haha that's gold. I fake it sometimes. When you just want it to end cause you're tired, and it's not good and you just want him to leave you alone! As yet, no one has ever picked up on it being fake! www.TerminalSports.com.auAustralia's largest skydive gear store

Damn, nasty wound. Hope it heals ok. I sorta know how you feel, not being able to do what you love because of an injury. I used to run almost every day until I hurt my back 4 months ago and it is taking FOREVER to get better. Looks like it'll be at least another month, maybe 2 before i can run again. It is sooooooo frustrating! BUT, now I've found skydiving which I can do even with my shitty back, so it sorta makes up for it, if only I had enough money to do it all the time. www.TerminalSports.com.auAustralia's largest skydive gear store
