^There should be plenty of stoli floating around the DZ with the number of Russians that are expected to show up. And speaking of Grey Goose, Peter Kimosh owes a bottle for his FIRST reserve ride yesterday afternoon. He aparently had an ungodly number of linetwists & decided to chop. Niiiiice. I've got a few jumps on various Xfire's. They're excellent canopies. I just orderd a canopy from NZ Aerosports last week... I hope mine gets here that fast. Congrats & safe swoops! Egad, A BASE life defiles a bad age.

Question about Far's and intentional cutaway's?

Strong has a intentional cutaway rig called a "Tridem" with three canopies on the back. The first main is on the bottom and deployed with a traditional BOC. The cutaway handles for this canopy are outboard, just like a strong tandem. The outboard silver handle deploys the second main (middle) by spring loaded PC. The third canopy is a traditional reserve. If you could get your hands on two of these rigs you could do some bizarre jumps... Just think, a traditional Mr. Bill -> chop jumper 1's main -> deploy jumper 2's main -> chop it -> deploy jumper 1's secondary main -> then have jumper 2 bail and open their secondary. This is probably going to get moved to The Bonfire since it's not specifically BASE related. Personally, I'm a student about to graduate from college with a Media Production degree. I sold my motorcycle so that I could start skydiving & then got a job at the DZ. Other people who jump in my area have pretty varied jobs. Construction, Real Estate, Pharmacutical Sales... etc. Egad, A BASE life defiles a bad age.

I am about to order a Canon 10-22 and it seems like there is alot of variation in prices from online dealers. Is there a big difference between the lesnes that are being sold for less than $600 and the ones that are going for $800? So far the best price that I have found is at preferred photo.com @ $570. Congrads to Janine and Darin! We're going to have a whole bunch of DZ graduates in the next month or so! PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: The weather for friday looks pretty awesome! It'll be in the high 70's and there are currently 11 tandems schedulled! The tandems start at noon and Matt has been trying to get some folks to come out in the morning and get started early! ^^It isn't necessary to use BASE equipment when deploying that high. I'd presume that most people making tamdem PG "jumps" on BASE gear are pulling significantly lower than 1000m... They'd be wasting a perfectly good BASE packjob Egad, A BASE life defiles a bad age.

Thanks guys! I'm suprised that they finally decided to publish that one. They've had it since sometime in June. Was it in the "Parachutist Pictorals" section? I can't wait to see it.
