    Considering the work involved? These people will die to kill massive amounts of innocent Americans. They have proven that. It's about body count and damage to our economy. It's their belief system. It's what they live for. They will work their whole lives just to go on that one mission and die for their Jihad.. I'm not sure it's about body count as much as instigating terror into people's mind. If they were after body counts, the towers might have been hit later in the morning ot in the afternoon. It was simply easier to hit them in the morning, and I believe that the purpose was to take the towers down, regardless of how many people in them. Symbolic. Much like the Pentagon. Should people start blowing themselves up at Wal-Marts around the country, the mind fuck will be pretty hard to deal with. But I may be wrong.     Yes. But considering the work (and $) involved in getting a dirty bomb operational and effective, I'd be more concerned about a conventional terrorist attack in a supermarket, theatre, subway, etc... using easy (or easier) to obtain materials.     Granted, but lots of things can happen between one's hard deck and the ground. Someone tearing through your canopy at 1,100ft (there's a video somewhere of someone going through that at around 800ft) may leave you with no option (a canopy trasnfer maybe?). There may be some damage in the canopy which were not noticed upon inspection and got worse as it was flown, etc... My own interpretation of my hard deck: my canopy is not safely landable when I reach it, it's gone. But it doesn't mean that I may not have to chop it below my hard deck... I may be wrong. Just my take on it, and I'd love some feedback on that. Although it may be the wrong thread.     I'd think the primary purpose of an RSL is to get the reserve out when needed, even if you can not (or don't have enough time to) ask for it. ...and that you tend to need that reserve to open quite often.
