  1. Actually Yves' wing was designed to fit inside the Porter (cabin and door size were part of the equation of the size+shape) as it is the most common jumpplane around in Switzerland and Europe, plus you can find them almost anywhere in the world. He also uses a springloaded drogue chute. scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

  20. if you had a Mirage, you would just have to check for dropped bug panties and then you could exterminate them easily anyways, have your rig INSPECTED by a rigger, any kind of bugs can be bad to nylon (specially when they die/are crushed) scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM
  21. I don't have a problem with switching an AAD off, or reading and understanding a manual (which apparently many owners of the "newer" AAD's don't do). It seems that many AAD fires did occur due to operator mistake AKA "I didn't RTFM" errors But what I do not understand is the reasoning to let an AAD act according to illogical (to me)/impossible situations. scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM
