  2. it's not for everyone.... edited to add : Slacker, put it that way... I suppose you have a driving license.... Could you imagine driving a Formula1/Nascar/whatever racecar after 200 minutes of driving ? And spending 10k$ to do so ? See how wingsuiting and BASE are cheap and fast ?
  3. Respect I don't think that the shocked emoticon should be used in that instance. well he seem hung like an Appaloosa I think shocked respect is totally in order here specially when you compare it to my wiener scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

  6. do you plan on dying in the next months/years ? For the wingsuiting, you do not need to crush the 200 jumps in 18 months, you can also jump a bit "less regularly", but will be requested by your WS coach ( if you decide to go with the coaching way), a slightly higher number of jumps. Reason for that would be you need to be "fluent" in the activity, have some time in it, and have your brains clear enough to try some new stuff.... Of course if you don't have time, you could purchase a wingsuit and huck yourself from a cliff on your 1st jump ever... But it would most probably be a one-shot experience.... edited to add : in some remote places (provided you are in the US), tehre "would be" places where you could wingsuit-tandem, or in the US you could Tandem-BASE scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

  11. slacker, I would suggest you went for a jump or more, and discover that there is more to the sport than wingsuiting and BASE jumping (which are all over the youtoobs) scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

  18. please provide me links to the discussions. I can not remember of cases of Cypres NOT firing when parameters were met I can not remember of cases of uncut loops when the cutter had fired I am not implying Cypres is perfect, it certainly has its flaws. Some people prefer fire/nofire parameters of other AAD's. scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM
  19. if you have 10 cases, please give us say at least 2 cases where either the parameters were met and it didn't fire, or when it fired that the loop was not cut (besides the case where the loop was not routed through the cutter) I am not defending Airtec, I am interested to read that. Ground firings also bother me. scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM
  20. Can you send it to Welschland for the weekend ? scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM
  21. .................................................................. Why not? Your simplest response would be to post your Accident, Incident or Malfunction report on-line. There, I just challenged you to publish your "documentation!" dear Rob, At the Time, the report was sent to Airtec, we exchanged letters, I sent them the "full quality" video which they used on the promo video and also to show to their production staff, they sent me lots of Cypres stuff (including my awesome one-of-a-kind T-shirt). Also when they published the video on YouTube I asked them to pull it down. They DO know about this incident. I do not have a copy of the original report though[url] scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM
