Tears of a Cop I have been where you fear to be. I have seen what you fear to see. I have done what you fear to do. All these things I've done for you. I am the one you lean upon. The one you cast your scorn upon. The one you bring your troubles to, All these people I've been for you. The one you ask to stand apart. The one you feel should have no heart. The one you call the officer in blue. But I am human, just like you. And through the years I've come to see That I am not what you ask of me. So take this badge and take this gun. Will you take it? Will anyone? And when you watch a person die, And hear a battered baby cry. Then so you think that you can be All those things you ask of me? Blue skies and god bless for your service

It's good to see he's his usual self

The first step is admitting you've got a problem
-
Thats odd. I could have sworn in the previous post I acknowledged my mistake and apologised
-
I did read the article but may have misunderstood the argument. I thought you were also supportive of allowing students to be armed. If thats not the case then I apologise
-
Instead of the thankfully rare massacres you will instead have hundreds dead every year across the country through petty arguments, disputes and accidents. What a result!
-
I dont think giving hormonal teenagers weapons in such a densly populated environment as college could be any good for anyone. When the testosterone is flying around and arguments ensue do you really want guns to be at hand? Thats fucking stupid

Yeah... its.. bad She wishes she was Lauryn Hill

Can I apologise for shamelessly going through and attempting to add people I recognise on the site Mine is : http://www.myspace.com/skyscoop

The last couple of years of school for me were great looking back on it. When we weren't fooling around in class we were up the park skating or in the town pissing off pedestrains on ours BMXs, blades & boards Constantly getting moved on and chased. We really thought we were so cool with our combat trousers, oversized trainers and offensive T shirts. Teenagers eh!? (could also apply to skydivers!) The soundtrack to my life was pretty much the following. I had a compilation CD which I made which was basically on repeat for 2 or 3 years solid. Eminem Feat whoever - Remember Me Beastie Boys - Intergalactic Blink 182 - Whats my age again Korn - Freak on a leash Run DMC - It like that Limp Bizkit - Break stuff Blink 182 - Party Song Offspring - Have you ever Blink 182 - All the small things Gren Day - Basket case Rage against the machine -Bombtrack Slipknot - Wait and bleed Eminem - Stan Offspring - The kids aren't alright Fatboy slim - Praise you Linkin Park - In The End Luniz - I got 5 on it Slipknot - Spit it out I know I'm probably alot younger than most and some of you will be thinking, 'what do you mean that was years ago!?' but I love how when I stumble across these songs from my best years it brings back loads of memories. What about you guys?

My first job I got in a garage after having done work experience there with the school. I guess they liked me! My second job (as a panel beater) I got through networking I guess. I was loaned out to be a race mechanic for this other driver who ran his own bodyshop and they took me on and gave me an apprenticeship. After that I worked in a call centre for a year, strange direction I know, but I blagged that all by myself. Then I worked as a mechanical engineer and learnt CNC milling & tunring (or some basic aspects at least) but my brother in law was the boss of that company. Now, my career with the police, I did that myself. Been trying for years. Finally got it. Although I do miss the satisfaction of making stuff or restoring things and seeing them either race on the track or be shown off at shows I have to get that satisfaction through TV like Overhaulin and American Chopper

I've been to Headcorn midweek and been pleasantly surprised. Theres quite a large number of emergency service staff who jump there and I guess the way the shifts work they get odd days off, as well as those who sneak out of work early (like on a Friday). If your lucky enough to get down to HPC midweek and theres a good number of jumpers willing to jump all day its a right laugh. You could also ring ahead and see if they got any midweek tandems booked in. Thats what I did when I was struggling with shifts at work and wanting to progress through AFF. I'm not sure how it'll work now though as I believe they currently running a Skyvan unti the Let410 arrives. I don't know what their minimum would be to put them up EDIT: A few of us from DZ.com will be up Emp during the beach boogie. So I may well see you there. I arrive on the 19th

Damn. Rather you than me. I do really well on the free tables on PokerStars then when I hit the real money tables I get destroyed. I had to uninstall it from my computer in the end! Too tempting

The funny thing is 'Axe_Murderer', it's just as easy for us in the UK to have legally held firearms as it is in the states, possibly even easier when you look at shotguns. Anyone can have a shotgun without reason as long as they have no criminal record for violent crime or instances of domestic violence and have no mental health issues. In fact, in these politically correct times where everything has to be justified, the firearms licencing officer told me its very difficult for the police to refuse a shoutgun permit. There is also, no waiting time for a shotgun licence. Now thats a tool that would be perfect for home defence, don't you think? Paticularly if you fancy an Extrema2

I find its much better to be up front and honest!

Its cool sitting by an open door on take off, if a little bit scary. I love the Let though. I'll see more of Headcorn the second I teach my lazy ass how to pack because getting help there is always major effort at a weekend unfortunately
