What DZ have you booked your course with?

I found the same. I now do my leg straps up VERY tight. Not so tight that I cant move or I get pins and needles but so that I dont slap around on opening. Now I get no bruises. It might partly be conditioning though. Its an unusual place for your body to be 'loaded' unless your used to wearing some sort of harness. I too went for the Wings based on the comfort. When I finally receive it I will know for sure!

What was it for. Do they just panic when they see something they are unsure of? Really annoyed now. The whole fiasco has been about 12 weeks now. Through no fault of Sunrise might I add. They had it delivered to where instructed within 6 weeks

Just got a message to say customs are holding my brand spanking new WIngs container. No issues mentioned about import duty. They just want to know what it is apparantly! Ive done my best to enlighten them as to what it is and that in its present condition is nothing more than an expensive rucksack with steel hardware. Is there any issues that I may find troublesome or is it just them being over the top or possibly that it wasn't labelled correctly?

Note to self: Barbed wire fences have a nasty habit of looking invisible. I like the 'thats not good' comment. Haha Glad your walking around laughing about it now though

No because someone doesnt sit with a clipboard monitoring whos going where. They are only used to help public safety and for evidential purposes as stated. We get lots of calls from CCTV operators asking our attendance somewhere. Usually its because it looks as though a fight is about to occur or because the guy they are monitoring has just stolen something or assaulted someone. I dont know if youve ever been into a CCTV office, our town has an underground bunker with walls of screens. It is the most boring place you've ever been. They couldnt give a shit if your wearing the same shirt you wore yesterday or that the woman your with isn't your wife. They dont notice things like that. They are very good, however, at spotting the guy whos acting suspiciously around your car or identifying who that unknown offender was who headbutted you for no reason. If I had a choice, I'd rather live in a town with CCTV than one without

So would you pull a gun on a police officer then? I think your attitude about things stinks. You are so arrogant that you think your goverment would actually give a fuck what you are up to. Sorry to burst your bubble but your nobody. For your information ANPR is a brilliant way of catching criminals. THe number plate gets checked automatically via the Police National Computer (PNC) and cross referenced to see if the vehicle has insurance, tax etc In this country you can only buy tax with a valid insurance certificate. So if someone hasnt got one 9 times out of ten they arent insured. But its probably too invasive of us to take out uninsured drivers. We should leave them alone. Also believe it or not, stolen vehicles are used in crime. Speed cameras: Please.... dont fucking speed through them. CCTV.. well, I think your trying to build some sort of argument of a big brother state when their isnt really anything to worry about. THe DNA maybe, but the other things. Get a life. If you dont like it, no doubt its coming your way soon too. I suggest you drag your ass up to the mountains, arm yourself to the teeth, put a tin foil hat on and live life as a reclusive paranoid loser

I had an instructor try to sell me a 170 as a reserve for my first rig. That would be a wing loading of 1.35:1 - Not ideal for reserve for newbie! Im no instructor but I think I can safely say... Moral of the story, seek independent advice from a third party instructor as to its suitability. You seem to have good idea about what you want from your equipment. Cant hurt to get an educated opinion from an unbiased party.

Alright, alright, keep ya tracksuit on!
-
You got it Actually there is something satisfying about catching people in the act and making my area a better place to live ahhhhhhhhhhhhh I tried asking offenders politely to kindly refrain from punching and robbing people but, surprisingly, it doesnt work. You have to be a little bit 'authoritarian'

Yeah, but they talk utter shite in the process Maybe toursits like the cheeky cockney charm when touring around (in London) but it gets on my tits! Shut ya noise!
-
It doesnt scare me now, but maybe in 20 years when they have found out even more and can extract useful information from DNA, at the moment, I couldnt give a damn. If it was the norm no-one would know any different anyway. Whilst you might have one generation of whiny cry babies, the rest wouldnt know any different. I think it'll happen globally. Its just a matter of when.

err.. no idea what your on about. So I guess thats a no!

For the record, no depression or alcholism (sp?) but in my police role I was promoted last night! You probably already know but I am Special Constable, which in the UK is a voluntary officer. ('that explains alot' I hear you cry) I'm now acting Section Officer, which in my role is kinda like a Sergeant so I look after 8 or so of my officers and get a stripe on my shoulder . Thank fuck you dont live in the UK huh?!

Hehe, thats actually very funny!
