If your taking your vehicle to a pre-arranged MOT test centre then that is recognised lawful exemption. You still need insurance though. Alot of the time if everything adds up a little bit of common sense is all thats needed. Police officers have a power of discretion - which is what I refer to as the 'attitude test'

I think so, I noticed that when I got it through the post. Just wondering, if you noticed your cutaway was flapping about like that would you cut it away as a safety precaution (looking at the picture looks like fair amount of cable has pulled through because of the resistance against the wind)

THe attitude in that article is quite interesting. As a newbie and not jumping with anyone so no breakoff etc my Pro Dytter is set at 3k (pull at 3.5 so hear as deploying), 2.5k and 1.5k. Mine are therefore really nothing more than varying degrees of panic. I should have done what I want to do and only hear the first warning tone as the canopy is deploying. If I hear a tone but nothings happening I know I have a problem. If I hear tone 2 or 3 paticularly then its time to worry and start thinking about EPs. Im going to keep it that way for a while until ive calibrated Mk1 Eyeball to altitude. Dont want to get into any lazy habbits of relying on audible.

It is an offence to be drunk in a public place which includes pubs/clubs ...and also PeacefulJeffery - The restrictions are more for the employees of pubs/clubs/restaraunts as well as for the benefit of non smoking customers. H&S requirements meant that people werent allowed to smoke at the bar years ago. Its just gone one step furthur. I personally like it. Last pub I went to was non smoking and it was actually really nice night, dont go out stinking either. Was kinda funny to see the smokers out in the car park all huddled up for warmth coughing and spluttering together

Its not as bad as photos make it look. neighbours are like every 500 metres. Got nice pub where you can pick up your cousins for hot nights of romance. You know the type. The local pub for local people that goes quiet when an outsider walks in. Its bit eerie but I love it! Also Im currently working where I lifve and have started getting a bit of grief from our 'customers'

Now some of you guys will have knowledge on this subject. Looking at houses in a certain area near me. Only ones I can afford being one reason. Its the largest shingle area in the world and its quite baron with the sea on three sides of you. You may appreciate also the nucleur power station, which I have to say looks really pretty at night! Some odd properties down there but I kinda like it. I also figure better to invest some money with a mortgage into a property than rent and give all that money to someone else. I say remote area but its only 25 mins from where I currently live which is a busy town. No jobs down there though so would have to commute. Anyone else made the move to remote area? Find attached some pics. Unfortunately no jumping from that airport. Booooo! Still makes my DZ only 35-40 mins away
