I was going to be nice before I read this. She is not skydiving, she is going to be a passenger on a thrill ride and bringing Inside Edition along to further sensationalise her bullshit survival story. JP is right, and I say we boycott any DZ that allows her to jump (or "tourist") there. What DZ is allowing this???

Update - Final Update. A year or so after talking to my birth father on the phone (1 night stand so he is just a sperm donor) I flew to LA 2 weeks ago to see my Grandma. I decided to give him a call again. I met him and my half brother at his house. It was really cool, we all agreed that we are not family and that it was just nice to meet. We drank wine and beer and just talked. (I know why I like red wine so much now) He took me out to a really nice dinner the next night. It turned out as cool as it possibly could have.. I knew Marianne most from her visits to Perris when I lived in CA. When I moved back to Dallas 2 yrs ago, we were all at this club in Dallas. I had noticed this girl dancing in the fog and disco lights, and this girl was an awesome dancer, way better than everyone else. When we shut the place down, I noticed this amazing dancer in front of me leaving, I tapped her on the shoulder to tell her how good I thought she was (I swear I wasnt hitting on her). She turned around and I got my first real good look at her....It was Mariann! What a blast she was. -

I saw something on TV about her ill fated jump just yesterday. Its almost like the Geico Caveman add. Can it just go away please... I think it is great for her to jump again, regardless of the debate over her publicity.

OK...im glad its not just me.... Im even more fucked, i bought a new house and cancelled SBC Yahoo DSL (SBC hijacked my Yahoo account and called it SBC Yahoo) and now my password is locked and SBC is saying Yahoo is the problem and vice versa. Meanwhile, no email and I have no idea how to fix it. Oh, and I have a bladder infection.

I have 6 days off and Im bored so Im non-revving to Belize on Sunday because there and Caracas are the only open flights on AA so me and a buddy are going till we get bored. I want to lay on the beach at a moderately cheap place, snorkel and have a decent night life and drink heavily. Any reccomendations? If you got passes, come on.....

The FAA has always been cool to me. The local airport mgr didnt like me or think to much of me having a Pitts S2B. I did a full rudder slide slip down the runway (looks like knife edge) to practice slowing down fast if the engine quit and I dove for the runway and had too much airspeed. He walks over to the hangar with a nicely dressed female. As they approach, I see she has a badge of federal origin. He thought he had me. He says "What was that?" with a shit eating grin. I explain to the nice FAA lady that that was a very important safety maneuver and that it was the only way to slow my airplane fast. She said "that was cool!" and appreciated the explanation. I made an offer and gave $1000 earnes money based on that offer. The dumbass countered and I said no. I then said I might buy some options and he called me and said "everything is OK". I then go to the mortage guy and find out he had written $5000 worth of options in, forged my imitals on the change, and cashed my check based on that offer. We NEVER discussed any dollar amount worth of options and I never agreed to anything. I DID NOT GET MY MONEY BACK They have been saying "its in the mail". At first they said it would take 2 weeks, now they say 30 days. They can build a fucking house in less than 30 days.

I made an offer on a DR Horton house in TX. To make a long story short, they forged initals on an offer I never made and cashed my earnest money check. They have refused to return my calls. The a-hole that was selling me the house got pissed because I complained to his boss that he never called me back and initally refused to return my $, 2 days after I cancelled and 20 complaing calls later, he called and said that I would get my $ back. I said OK....We are done. Two days later, the asshole calls me a total of 18 times, leaving the same message that he was returning my call. He even called my work, over and over, harassing the guy that kept telling him I didnt work that week. All the phone calls are recorded as well as my vonage messages. I sent them all to his boss. There are more than 2,000,000 Mexican immigrants in Texas. If there were 2,000,000 Texans looking for work, Id look at reform. There are help wanted ads everywhere. What are people thinking???? Lets kick out 2 MILLION people that WORK here! They should all not work for a week too. The result would be devastating.

Almost 500,000 marched in Dallas today protesting. There were zero incidents of violence. The Police had nothing but praises. These people come to America to do jobs that are mostly back breaking, miserable jobs for minimal pay. I have worked with them. I hate to sterotype, but they are some of the hardest working, polite and family loving people I have ever seen. They are not lazy, and dont come here to get on welfare. Other than being here illegaly, they are a pretty law abiding bunch. Texas would shut down without them. And, if the demand for migrant workers gets met, they will stop coming if there are no jobs. Supply and demand. 500,000 people demonstrate peacefully, that are here to work, waving American flags, and love America. Shouldnt we WANT them here?
