Accually I have made 13 jumps into there over the past few years. All beer owed will be paid right after the wedding. We are having a huge keg, tons of bottled beer, some kind of fruit punch (everclear spiked), and good ole Kentucky moonshine, and a huge bonfire. Everyone is welcome! __________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ What's the worst that can happen?

OK maybe the streamers would be a better idea? __________________________________________________ What's the worst that can happen?

I accually have a half case of the smoke grenades. I will be jumping all day before the wedding which isn't planned until sunset. Do you think I could practice enough to be able to get it right by then? I don't want to be unsafe OR put anyone in danger. By the way I will not be flying over the crowd at all. The wedding will be at the end of an old runway that is not in use anymore. The plan is to fly down the runway landing within 100ft of everyone. Providing the winds which usually are in favor of this. I just want it to be safe and special.

I am accually planning to jump it into my own wedding ceremony Saturday in front of a news crew. My DZO and several others with PRO ratings will be with me and helping me make it as safe as possible. __________________________________________________ What's the worst that can happen?

How about cable and a fanny pack with a quick release and just tie the cable to the fanny pack so it will be easy to shuck it if needed? __________________________________________________ What's the worst that can happen?

I was planning on keeping it inside my jumpsuit until after the canopy is open. __________________________________________________ What's the worst that can happen?

I am planning to do my 1st smoke jump this weekend. I do not have a shoe bracket or anything but I am planning to use a 6 ft cord tied to the canister using a metal hose clamp and washer so it won't burn into. Tied to me using a slip knot so I can drop it just before landing so I know I will not get burned or burn my canopy when it hits the ground. Anyone got any USEFUL suggestions? __________________________________________________ What's the worst that can happen?

Did Uncle Sam take almost 60% of your earnings last year? and the year before? That is the reason I work 70 to 80 hours a week and only get to make an occasional jump. I'm not saying that being president is an easy job. I am just saying that they could make taxes a little bit easier to swallow on us single guys. Watching your friends who make roughly the same amount that I do drive nice vehicles and have tons of money just because they are married kinda gets to you after awile. I am tired of skinning my knuckles working on trucks that help produce the gas you use and not getting much of anything for it. I am tired of seeing our tax dollars wasted when they could save a few dollars here and there. __________________________________________________ What's the worst that can happen?

Would'nt it piss you off if you grossed $56,000 last year and brought home only $25,000 and it all went to taxes? It just burns my ass every time I look at my paystub. __________________________________________________ What's the worst that can happen?

It is nice to know that our president is to good a man to fly in a smaller more economical heli that probably costs about 4 times less and would be harder to hit in the event that someone tried to shoot him down. Nice to know that my hard earned taxes are providing him with the luxury that he needs to make decisions that seem to find a way to raise prices on everything..... What's the worst that can happen?

I will be jumping it alot more before sending it back. I have thought of this myself and thought I would try it. I get to keep it for another 2 weeks. Thanks for your help guys. Blue Ones! Brad __________________________________________________ What's the worst that can happen?

I got a Safire2 189 demo for this weekend and jumped it 2 times yesterday. I love this canopy. The openings were so nice and it flies really well. The only thing that I did notice with it is, like some one said in this thread already, you have to flare them down to your toes.... That is'nt really an issue for me though. I really liked it and will have my order in for one this week. __________________________________________________ What's the worst that can happen?

My S/O has made 2 static lines and a tandem is planned at our wedding next weekend.

I have one myself and have been considering making the chamber longer for more bang. I am a lil safer than some of you. I just use hair spray and a lantern igniter. It still shoots over 100 yds. __________________________________________________ What's the worst that can happen?

Profile is up to date. The Sabre was my first canopy and I have gained weight since then. My weight with gear is around 250 lbs. I am trying to get a Safire2 189 and have always jumped a Sabre 190. Not wanting to downsize any I just want better openings because I am such a shitty packer..... Icarus said it was 12 weeks to get a custom canopy but that was a couple months ago. I still plan on keeping the Sabre and putting together another rig for myself, but I just don't want it to ruin another vacation for me like it did at WFFC last year. It slammed me so hard on my 4th jump of the week that I was briused so bad I did'nt get to jump again for almost a month. I have the money to buy a new canopy now and plan on doing so. I just wish I could find an "in stock" Safire2 189. I will give PD a call and ask about the slider. Thanks for the info! __________________________________________________ What's the worst that can happen?

I have been wanting a Safire2 189 but can't seem to get it without waiting 3 months or so. What does everyone think about the openings of the Sabre2? Have they completely fixed the opening issues that they had with the Sabre 1? I have a Sabre 1 now and have decided not to jump it anymore because of the openings. No matter what I do it still slams me. __________________________________________________ What's the worst that can happen?

You forgot about forgetting to install the oil filter before starting the engine. . . I have even seen someone drive a screwdriver thru the NEW oil filter to tighten it. __________________________________________________ What's the worst that can happen?

Thats a good idea. Thanks for reminding me. __________________________________________________ What's the worst that can happen?

Thats good, I don't want to go any faster. I just want to not have to grit my teeth when I throw the PC... not knowing what I will get. __________________________________________________ What's the worst that can happen?

I kind of figured it would be a lil bit faster since they say that the Safire2 is a semi elliptical. I have never jumped anything other than my Sabre1 since student status. __________________________________________________ What's the worst that can happen?

I jump a Sabre1 190 now. I have ordered a new Safire2 189 which should be here this week. How much faster will it be than my Sabre? I weigh 225 lbs without gear. __________________________________________________ What's the worst that can happen?
