    i was at the mardi gras boogie with you.... nice to meet you again. I was the guy who needed 1 jump to finish my A license. What's the worst that can happen?

    when i did my first tandem i knew i loved what i was doing but i could'nt breathe because of the wind in my face. I was a static line student so i got a bunch of jumps before making it to 30 second delays and having to deploy early because i could'nt breathe. I had to repeat a bunch of my student jumps because i could'nt concentrate on what i was supposed to be doing during the jump. I have since bought a full face helmet and finished up my student status. I think it is just like being clausterphobic or something like that. I even went as far as buying a motorcycle to try to cure myself of this and just found a new hobby and adrenaline fix. But it still did'nt help, i still have to have a fullface even with the bike. If anyone has any helpful info i would love to hear it? What's the worst that can happen?

    my freinds tell me i should take out a loan to pay my beer tab for the firsts i had the week before last 1) new helmet 2)new dytter 3) first skydiving road trip 4) first time in alabama 5) first time in mississippi 6) first time in louisiana 7) first boogie 8) first casa jump 9) first king air jump 10) first time at mardi gras 11) got my A license 12) first time watching the king air dive 13) first 4 way 14)downsized almost 100 ft all at once 15) and the first time i had been part of a wedding jump 16) first time trying freeflying. how many should that account for? i think the count was like 21 cases the last time anyone said anything. but i would'nt trade the trip for anything.... it was a blast! oh forgot a new neptune too! What's the worst that can happen?

    i would'nt think temperature would be a problem during the summer. i am also from kentucky and at our DZ we do static line training. What's the worst that can happen?

    i'm not sure about the new DZ, we went to gold coast skydivers. we did'nt even make it out to new orleans at all. just went for the skydiving.....lol. mardi gras was pretty much over by the time we go there anyways. What's the worst that can happen?

    talk about being obsessed, i have been trying to sell everything i owe money on so i can get a job where i can have off every weekend instead of working every other one, or possibly make the move south near a DZ that jumps everyday! i really have the bug bad, i drive over 2 hours one way to my home DZ. Being the only active skydiver within 100 miles of home does'nt help much for having someone to shoot the bull with about skydiving during bad weather weekends either.

    Just thought i would say hello to everyone. This is my first post ( yes i know case of beer! ). I have just made my A license while at the Mardi Gras boogie. Got 8 jumps while there and I owe 8 more cases of beer!....lol I made my first tandem in october 2002 and have been addicted ever since. Skydiving is really the only thing on my mind since then and i find it hard to concentrate on anything else. I have finnally found that odd shaped missing peice in the puzzle of life. Blue Skies What's the worst that can happen?
