it was on fo called the swan. it is basicaly where they take some ugly chicks and make the look good through plastic surgery and all that. may be off the subject a bit, but i am not ashamed about being a student at all. IT means i can ask stupid questions that once i get a liscence i should know. It also measn that people ( at least at my DZ) are willing to jump with me to give me a shot. I have jumped with so many people that have been jumping for years. Not coach jumps, just fun jumps with people giving me a shot. but the big thing is people are willing to help. And i imigine this concept stay around, but people are really willing to help me out with better ways to do things. and things like that. So be proud of your jump number people!! its is who you are, its not an insult, and your not stupid caseu you are low on jumps! every one even the skylords had opnly 18 jumps at one time. so anyways.... -------------------------------------------------- Fear is not a confession of weakness, it is an oportunity for courage. -
i like the new format. but my internet is down so i dont get to enjoy is as much. But im at home now so its all good. No but i like that if i want to talk politics i have a place to go, and if i just want to chill i have a place to go. im still an newbie so i wont give advice but what i have expericened. When i had my first chot 2 weeks ago, i held onto both handles. i almost dumped them when my reserve opened cause it had a line twst to kick out of, but since i got them out fast i just held onto them. i was right ontop of the dz so i just left my breaks stowed, and tucked the handles into my jump suit. landed just fine under a conciderably smaller canopy then what i am used to jumping. but landed it just fine. from that experience i would say this and this is not advice just my observations... if you can hang onto them great, if not then dump them. -------------------------------------------------- Fear is not a confession of weakness, it is an oportunity for courage.

intresting very intresting. One way of thinking of it from the standpoint of a christian would be to look at it like this: When we use science we are using what God enabled us to do. If he wanted to make it where we could not study science, he could simply make it not happen. Like with the tower or babble. He made it where they simply could not function anymore, and in return the did not reach their goal. As long as science doesnt try to explain God, i have no problem with it, but when people make science their God then i disagree wit hthem. but at the same time they have the right to that opinion and i will not put them down beacsue of it, i would simply disagree. -------------------------------------------------- Fear is not a confession of weakness, it is an oportunity for courage.

i think when christians say they fear God it is not like a shake in my boots fear. I think it is mre like a respect fear. Example: I am working on my blackbelt in Shokan Karatee, my instrustor is a 5th degree black belt and could break me like i was a twig. So I fear him out of respect. I fear what he cpuld do, but he wont do it.
