the pentagon arrested those soldgers over a month ago, and had statrted an investagation a few months ago. That has come out in in the press, but they really dont weant to talk about it. i think your right on here. War is hell, and unfortunatly sometime you have to do hard things. BINGO thats the point of this thread so lets get back to it and off the other subjects there are pleanty of other threads to discuss that. As for the problems atthe prision.... yeah we messed up, and bad. Were people killed? dont know, were people raped? dont know, ill have to see the report when it comes out. But what i do know is that the Army in which i serve is an army that prides itself on helping otehrs. But just like any orginization there will be bad seads, that is what this uni was, a bad sead. That is why they will be punished accordinly, and the officers will be held responcable even if they didnt know it had happend. This is a horrible thing, it is sad, and it is shameful, but it is not wide spread. This is not going on every time that a captive is brought in. This is an isolated event and will be handled accouringly. Our troops are not hanis murders, they care about what they are doing. I know, casue i wear the same uniform. Granted i am not over there, i have alot of friends who are, and family that is over there. at one time the weapons were there, that is fact. We also know that he had the ability to manucafture WMD's cause we have found the places where they could have been made. Now tell me why he would have that if he didnt intend on making them and using them. Also, i said this in another thread, but as for the waepons, i think he had them. But i think he got rid of them, and i think that he sold them or moved them out of country. Example, a few weeks ago the Jordanian police foiled a terrorist plot that involved chemical weapons. Guesse what, they already had the weapons. The police found them. Hey guys, so i am about to finish up my A liscence tomarrow, question is this. I had a friend show me some crw stuff a few weeks ago and i loved it, thought it was to cool. Well i want to learn. So When should i start? How should i approach learning? you weant to know why he didnt want those names and what not to be shown? its simple, the US can not be beat on the battle field by these terrorists, just like we could not be beat in vietnam. then why do so many people say we lost vietnam?? reason- cause we lost the war at home. Why? Cause thos troops know the geneva convention, they are trained on it. THey are also aware of the risk of doing such a thing, they could be executed for this.
