Bill your a reasonable man... for the most part... jj... but lets take a look at intel. First off it is never 100% correct. If it is then this wourld would be a much different place. AS for 9-11 intel, well yeah we screwed up. But are you going to lay all the blame on the bush? what about all the cutts in funding that clinton did that stripped th CIA of field agents that got the on the ground intel? First off we should have finished the job in 91 and we would not be having this coverstation. But that didnt happen. However, the world knew this man was dangerious, he gasses his own people, he murdered millions of people. We knew he was nutts, so for that reason alone i think we were justified going in to iraq. Granted that was not the reason we went to war. Was the intel wrong? well i dont know. Granted we havnt found stock piles of weapons, we have found the places where they could have been made. We have even found artiollery shells filled with chemical weapons. Somewhere around 50-60 of them... not a stock pile. But when things happen like what happened in jordan last week where the jordanians foileda terrorist plan to kill thousands of civilians using chemical weapons that they already had possession of, it makes me wonder. im going to have to agree here. As a christian, i dont think that other people who dont believe the same as me are stupid, we simply disagree. And it is ok to disagree, but the key is to not alow it to come between to people. For example. one of the guys i jump with every weekend, is not christian, doesnt want to hear about it, and doesnt care. I on the other hand am a christian, do care about my faith and all that jazz. Does this drive a wedge between us? well he keeps jumping with me and we hang out after the day is over, so i would have to say, no. i am not the type of person who wants to shove my religion down someones throught. intresting point, and here is an observaion of mine. Politicaly speaking, europe seemed to love Clinton, why casye he would do what they said, and cause he was afraid o use the militry... hince his cutting of funding and all that. So after 8 years of weakness on the part of america, europe now has to deal with a president who is not afriad to stand up and take action. martial arts is a good way to stay in shape and get flexable.... i am short and chunky but majorly flexable thanks to shotokan... but i woulld not say hold off on AFF cause you are out of shape. If you exercise at all, and have some stregnth then you can do it. I found aff was more of a mental challenge. I still feel the same about skydiving... but then again i PT with rotc 4 days a week and train shotokan 3 nights a week. but whatever you do, dont over do yourslef. In other words dont do to much to fast. hey guys so heres the deal. Today i got up to go get some jumps in. Nice preaty day that looked great. Well jump went good, but while we were climbing the winds aparently picked up preatty good.... so when i was under my big student rental rig i was getting pushed backwards. i landed in a clear area at the end of the run way while being pushed backwards. So here is the question, since i was going backwards and all that i didnt get a good flare. Cause i had a hard time judging cause of high grass, and well going the wrong way. So i stuck me feet and knees together and flared as best as i could and got a good PLF no problem no pain nothing hurt. but is there any trick to judgin the ground in this situation.
