  1. Mike, who made your suit? I am gonna call Tony suits to ask for those. I think I want those instead of the cords. marc
  2. I would highly recomend tunnel time to people. But I think if people get too much time in the tunnel with out actualy riding the "hill" then you tend to get over confident. I have scene some AFF students with a half hour in the tunnel and then when it comes to AFF they fail multiple levels. The tunnel misses out on those 3 important parts of a skydive, EXIT, OPENING, and last but not least LANDING. all three of these parts can make someones stability go out the door because they worry too much about all this stuff and not on there arch.... marc

  5. There is no longer an A license test. I have the license to prove it too. unless your DZ is using the old BSR's for some of there req's but the new one for others. On the new application they require you to have 2 RW dives with an approved coach, instructor, or jumpmaster.... marc
  6. They are supposed to have airworthy rigs approved by an faa designated rigger. If you trust the rigger then OK. but then again. any doubts should be resolved before you go up. talk to the DZO and see what he/she says. then figure out where you want to go from there. also if you buy yourself gear before hand remember that gear that is good for your student time will quickly get boring by the time you even get 20 jumps in..... marc

Thats what I dont get....she understands all of that but insists that since her head is only 10 to 11 feet off the ground and mine is 13500' off the ground that I am more dangerous....stupid frustrating spouses...thats all it is... grrrrrrrrr.......marc
  21. I wish she would jump with me. But she has her damn weed eating machines(or is that money eating machines).... horses and skydiving are the two biggest black holes out there... marc

My wife is afraid of roller coasters too. she wont go on a ferris wheel even. we were on our honeymoon in london and paris and she wouldnt go on the millenium wheel out there. The thing is huge and all the carriages are totaly contained but she is too chicken. But here is the screwed up part. My wife has two gigantic horses that are taller than me at there shoulders (I am about 6'1" and they still have another 4 inches on me). she takes these 1800 pound beasts and jumps them over 5 and 6 plus foot tall fences at ridiculous speeds. and she says I am the one with the dangerous sport. Right now she is on a cross country course jumping stone and brick fences and all sorts of other things. GGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.....frustrating when she is giving me a hard time last night when I told her I bought my rig. marc
