  3. OK, You pull in the PC and bridle, but you better not pull it in too far because then you will pull the pin out and get stuck with what you are trying to avoid. dont think I would try this. Marc

  5. It's beautifull down here in florida. just have to take a 2 hour break in the afternoon to let the boomers past. and yes everytime you see blue sky, an open field or even a tall building you think "could I jump here"... Marc

  11. On the new A license check off sheet one of the requirments is to do a PLF on an actualy jump. kind of good to know how to do one if ya need to also. Marc

I had this guy Mike Mier from sebastian (he's at the ranch now) teach me. when I offered to pay he looked at me funny. this guy had packed chutes for 8 hours then took another three hours of his own time to teach me how to pack this monster 280 navigator. He is a great guy!!! and an example of what skydivers are. marc I also agree that this should be taught during progression... Marc
  14. When you learn how to pack michele they will teach you all about it. You have to be able to replace a line stow for your A license.... Marc
  15. I personaly like my "ninja" stance. One foot in front of the other usualy for me left in front, right to the rear. kinda like a martial arts stance. with my legs some what brought up to give me some spring. I found early on my legs ,even though right together, they tended to be locked at the knee. that is bad. also helps me to get ready to run it out and if I see I have to PLF I just quickly bring my other leg up to my left and PLF to the left.   16. This is to all you riggers out there. Do you know the pack volume max for the J-4? On the SunPath website it says it will hold a 210 ZP tight. but which ZP canopy's. I want to put a 230 hornet in the thing knowing they have smaller pack volumes. What do you guys/gals think? Marc

  23. No I scrap peoples innards off the street and put them back together after they take there motorbikes up to 120mph on the highway and smack into a parked truck!!!! hence stupid people....used to do it over in NZ and they are really stupid over there... Marc
