I'm so sad it's been a week since last I was in the sky... the weekend can't come soon enough. Now if I can only make some money in the interim so I can do it this weekend. Kelly, I'll still be your pimp, you can turn tricks, I'll make sure you are protected and I'll only take 60%. Never go to a DZ strip show.

I feel exactly the same, it doesn't matter who I'm talking to I'll somehow find a way to start talking about skydiving and then there's just no stopping me. Never go to a DZ strip show.

Kelly, I think you've lost your mind. Never go to a DZ strip show.

I'm a slow faller too but haven't ventured into the world of wearing lead... I just decided to start freeflying that way they couldn't tell me to arch harder! Anyway, I say screw it, let's make the fatties go big! Never go to a DZ strip show.

Just a guess but I'd venture to say that your 122 lbs presents less surface area than the 106 mph faller Never go to a DZ strip show.

With eleven jumps, you'd be a dork, well a dead dork if you flew a 39. Never go to a DZ strip show.

That's not true. The smalles is *imho* the german Blade 58. Make it Clicky =>http://www.hipercanopies.de/ Also the german Demon 60 is smaller => http://www.myskyshop.com/catalog/index.php/language/en See the thread about this in the swooping forum, the debate on the smallest production canopy rages on. Never go to a DZ strip show.

OK, so yeah, assuming I was head of my country, the USA, and we somehow got our asses kicked... yeah, I'd lie to the world and tell them whatever they wanted to hear to get them out and then I'd do whatever the hell I thought was in the interests of my people, even if that meant shooting down the war planes of the foreign invaders. Wouldn't you do the same GM? If somebody invaded and kicked the US's ass? Never go to a DZ strip show.

Maybe not depression but check out what this article has to say about High Sensation Seekers and their low threshold for boredom. Maybe the depression that some skydivers feel is really just overwhelming boredom. Never go to a DZ strip show.

[Long] Why newer jumpers want to Freefly at 20 jumps..
benny replied to jmfreefly's topic in Freeflying
Hey Dan, I got those coach jumps, you gonna fly with me now? Never go to a DZ strip show. -
We'd fire on someone trying to patrol our airspace wouldn't we? I sure hope so. If not what good did it do us to have GW patrolling the skies of Texas? UN rules or not firing on planes patrolling the "no fly" zone seems pretty reasonable to me. I would say that people don't invite another nation to topple their own gov't but rather take action themselves primarily and ask for assistance from others. Never go to a DZ strip show.

shit, i'd do it for 50k though i'd definitely ask for more... 50k tax free and i'm out of debt, finish school, skydive, and buy some land, hell yeah Never go to a DZ strip show.

I feel like an old grumpy man sometimes! Ahhhh...the hazards of getting into rigging.

Uggh, now I'm really gonna have to pull a heist... what's a sabre 2 gonna run now? in the 135-150 sq foot range? Never go to a DZ strip show.

What are your feelings for the Coach Program from USPA?

Not that slow? Really? Never go to a DZ strip show. -
Stupid dilemma: I need credit so I can buy skydiving stuff!

I told you I'd be your pimp and you could start turning tricks Kel Never go to a DZ strip show. -

These drugs are supposed to correct for a chemical imbalance - something that skydiving will not do. That said, I believe the mental healthy industry is far too quick to proscribe drugs over other forms of treatment - esp for depression and "ADD" - and for that reason wouldn't draw any conclusions about people taking them. While I agree that anti-depressants are intended to correct chemical imbalances, and that they are over-prescribed, I disagree that brain chemistry is not affected by activities (skydiving or otherwise). Nonetheless, I say jump on! Never go to a DZ strip show.

23rd I believe... not sure, SunMan just got a call from Nate asking if he was set to be there and I'm pretty sure TJ is coming in for it as well. Never go to a DZ strip show.

It's coming up soon, who's gonna be there? I'll be there (not on the dives of course, I'm only now learning to sit) and was wondering who else was gonna be in town. Never go to a DZ strip show.

Has anyone ever thought of the possibility that taking up skydiving could give a person who was depressed a new outlook on life and resultingly make them less suicidal or even not suicidal at all? In any case, depressed, clinically, on anti-depressants or not does not necessarily mean one is suicidal. When you are actually suicidal you need medical supervision. If the shrink let them loose, chances are that they are confident in the person's control over themself. Never go to a DZ strip show.

0:11:lost count 15 jumps all week long but only 11 were weekend... my best hop-n-pop ever when i was challenged to see how quickly I could get the pc out... the guy who challenged me said i would have been fine from 1500 feet on my main as quickly as i deployed! 5 coaching jumps with that same person above, the awesome Nate Gilbert working on sit flying a couple of 4 way belly dives in which I was definitely the week link. Thanks to the Carbones, Mike to the G and Brian! Never go to a DZ strip show.

How safe are all these Twin Otters?
benny replied to stateofnature's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Plus the pilot, I mean, this guy's got training, if he'll fly it without a rig, I'll definitely ride in it with one. Never go to a DZ strip show. -
Or my favorite, Saudi Arabia. Never go to a DZ strip show.
